Front rang Community College is a very good community college. The teachers are super good and I really enjoyed them. I like the office hours available and the workload isn’t to bad. Overall its a good school.

It is a community college, so the opportunities are somewhat limited. However, the classes and professors are wonderful. I enjoy the learning opportunities and getting to meet people. I am enrolled at FRCC through my local high school, which is a concurrent enrollment school. I am earning my Associate of Arts through FRCC during high school. I love the opportunity and, due to the way that the program is set up, I will graduate high school with my first two years of high school finished for free. If you are looking for a great community college, I would highly recommend Front Range Community College.

I really enjoy it. There's lots of opportunities. I recently joined the work-study program. Since it's a community college, most people don't interact with others frequently, but the academic quality is still very good. Fantastic price and fantastic option for those who don't want to go into debt.

Overall, it's got good instructors and the smaller class size is very nice. The facilities and amenities are up-to-date, clean, and easy to use. Disabled student services is extremely helpful and most instructors are very accommodating and encouraging.

I have mainly been online, but the over all experience has been amazing, I still get the classroom feeling with small groups and it is really easy to ask the questions that I need to. I appreciate how organized a wolf in D2 well is I don’t ever feel lost when I’m looking for classes are trying to submit projects or assignments.

I really like attending FRCC despite not offering on campus housing. It's an affordable education and you get more one on one time with teachers compared to an average University. The friends I've met there are productive individuals and we all give each other space to study instead of distracting each other. When we do have the same classes we study together as much as possible to assure that each person will succeed. We don't support partying because it's a community college, and we're all here to learn, not get distracted.

All around great school! The professors are great and truly care about students passing and understand they have other priorities outside of school. Advisors aren't very helpful. We get a 30-minute conference for them to tell us information we already know. Student Life is always having something planned for students to get involved!

I love how accessible it is and how much help you can find there from student services to the professors. The classes are relatively smaller than usual universities, but that means that the professors are more involved in your learning and are helpful. There are also many great areas in the building for study spaces.

I enjoy attending my classes, and I never seem to have issues. The class sizes are perfect for my learning because they’re small enough for me to ask help whenever I need it and easy for my peers to communicate effectively. There is always academic support provided along with counseling on campus, and I wouldn’t ask for anything more than that. The professors I have had were always on top of our curriculum and have even told us to communicate with them if we have outside factors that we need to talk about that could be affecting our attendance and/or performance. It’s very important to acknowledge to students that you will be there for them, so I appreciate it. Of course schools aren’t perfect, but I, personally, haven’t experienced anything to prove otherwise.

Just great. A top-class education for a fraction of the price. Love it so much I wish I had gone here long ago. Sometimes community college gets a bad rap, but this college is perfect for my work life balance.

Front Range Community College is really good for what it is - a community college. There's always some sort of event going on (usually with free food!) and many different clubs you can join as well! The professors I have had have all been great - they're really good about being accessible to the students. And class size is amazing! I think the largest class I have had there was 32 students. Their Student Instructor (SI) program is also really helpful, with many chances for free tutoring outside of class time. I have loved it for the couple semesters I have been there, and would definitely recommend as a starting point for a college career!

Overall, I would say Front Range is a good community college. The food is great, the people are usually calm and quiet and they are very involved in student life. For example, every Tuesday mornings there is a group from the college that gives out free breakfast. The same group also sets up a table that gives out information about activities and events that will happen through out the school. Although, some programs are stronger than others. I guess that's how the majority of colleges are though.

I honestly dont feel like I recieve a lot of help at the college. Because I feel like the financial aid Department isn't very helpful. And the acadmic Department isn't very helpful. I make appointments to meet with my Acadmeic advisor and she cancels so it's very irritating. I want to transfer to Metro state to study in sociology because I feel that Metropolitan state of Denver colorado will help me be more successful and espically of what I want to major in social work to become a licensed and Dedicated social worker and work with abused and neglected children and care for young children and to help families and to work in the field of child welfare services.

I think that front range is a really good place to start for students who don't quite know what it is that they want to get into. Its a lot cheaper then a university, and class sizes are smaller making it easier to learn. I definitely recommend coming here if you are debating going back to school, or if you don't know quite yet whats best for you.

Front Range is an incredible school for a number of reasons. This is a school you can go to without getting into debt which will help you in the long run. The school is designed to help students who want a small certificate to transferring to university. The advisors generally help you in all ways needed from help with financial aid or what classes to take. The classes themselves are incredible. The class sizes are generally 20-30 and the professors have time to help YOU, which they do because 90% of the professors actually care. I'd suggest Front Range to anyone who wants to do anything.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Front Range Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back, I would tell myself, "Make good choices NOW. Turn your head up high and don't be prideful but be confident. The habits that you make for yourself will affect you every single day of your life and college is ten times harder than you imagine it. I know you are so ready to be out of here, out of high school altogether but I promise you that learning well now WILL benefit you in the end. I remember being you and thinking I knew what the future held for me and yet now I know that I may as well know nothing because the world will alter and I will alter with it. Never doubt yourself yet doubt everything because that is how you will learn. Trust in the eternal and question the current. Most important of all though, allow yourself to follow only what you know to be right."
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Linked with the other community colleges in Colorado online, with some very capable professors and a broad spectrum of classes, pitched toward transferring to a four-year institution but boasting an encouraging percentage of associate graduates, this is one of the best community colleges I have encountered, and the online option opens so many opportunities and impressively qualified professors that it should never be dismissed by any Front Range students as a way to pursue an education there.
I love that Front Range is nearby, and completely affordable. I am getting a solid education, and Front Range is preparing me well to transfer to a four-year college.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The students that are going there don't seem to care about their education. Some do, but I never seem to find anybody near to me that does. It's sad, because I want to go to school to learn, but when people around me do not have the same intentions, it makes it hard for me to get everything that I want to get out of my education experience.
Anyone! There is such a wide variety of people there that you can meet almost any type of person! There are so many different age groups and different personalities that I am positive you'll find atleast one to befriend!
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I just transferred from university of Colorado to Front range in Westminster, so far I think it was the best decision I have made. I say this because not only is it cheaper, but there financial aid department is great unlike University of Colorado?s. I also like that the classes are smaller so you get more one on one with your professor which leads into better grades. I really think I?m going to succeed at Front range.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
In the summer I've been awarded the privilege of attending University of Colorado at Boulder. One of the reasons I chose to apply to the school was the vast amount of clubs I can join. The most frustrating thing about Front Range is the fact the they don't have very many clubs. The college experience is about meeting life long friends and doing so by joining clubs or being involved in intramurals.
Front Range Community College is a great school that offers several opportunities to further my education. The instructors and staff are well equipped with the knowledge and life experience to lead students to their designated and desired degrees. It is refreshing to go to class and learn so much and feel so good about comprehending what you’re going to class for. Advisers make much effort to get students on the right track and encourage students to pursue higher learning.
My favorite classes have been American Sign Language. The instructor is very knowledgeable of what it takes to be an excellent interpreter and goes above and beyond to help students learn.
Our class participation is high, students show up with work in hand. It's good to see students enthusiastic about their studies. I am interested in perusing a degree as an interpreter and Art major. I am an older adult who is reinventing myself and perusing the education I could not do when I was younger. It's great to be part of the Arts program and go to concerts, plays and opera's where the teacher is actually performing, or holding a tutoring session. Such as practicing sign language at a coffee shop or restaurant.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
I have only encountered a stereotype once this semester and that was someone asking me if I worked here to clean the bathroom. I don't know what brought this on, but I believe a soft answer turns away anger.
