I like it, it is small so there isn’t like a cafeteria or anything, but it is very nice. It is near restaurants and stores so it isn’t hard to get things if you needed them. I have loved all my professors and have always been able to reach them if needed.

It’s a good school to go to but not the best they take your money by making pay for classes you don’t need . I’ve had a lot of trouble with that, the treachers are cool but just an overall view it’s a good school just not the best honestly, just sucks that school is the only option for many of us.

It’s an amazing school. Everyone is very friendly all professors are easy to contact always ready to help. The college is decently priced. Online classes there are amazing as well as are the advisors. There’s a lot of diversity on campus which I think is important. There may not be any sports but there’s clubs and on campus things like movie nights and stuff to get involved in.

It’s a clean, fairly strict, and schedule based college, great for students who actually want to pursue a career in either a trade or associates degree. I have noted though that there are some professors who struggle to teach the subject correctly which is alarming. Also, there may be some false advertising in regards to tuition cost; it is of prime importance to get in contact with an advisor at the get-go. In the end, I’m satisfied enough with the college for what it is, but I think Gateway has some areas in which to improve. (Why are you closed on the weekends?)

I love Gateway. The professors go out of their way to help each student learn. i have built several relationships with professors that I will stop by their offices just to say hi. They definitely want students to succeed. Gateway offers many degrees and certifications to accommodate just about anyone.

Gateway isn't a bad school, but it also isn't one worth attending unless money is a major concern. Most of the student body are older people going to school for the first time or students who got on the wrong path their first time in college. If you are a serious student I wouldn't recommend.
Hayley
The professors are really helpful and everyone at Gateway really strives to help you further your education. The faculty and staff are all great with making sure you know how to navigate college life for a low price. The multiple campuses also help with students who do not live particularly close to a single campus.
Paige
The school is amazing. The education department is run incredibly. There are options for every student. While this is a community college and not a university, the campus is amazing, and there’s always something going on. I cannot believe my success rate these past two years!
Felicia
Gateway Community and Technical College is a great school to go if you are a first time student. The classes are small and the instructors are available to assist you before and after class. With a smaller campus you don't have that crazy anxiety feeling. I definitely don't worry about getting lose and missing class.
Kayleigh
Since Gateway is a community college, there is no on campus housing, but the classes are cheap with good quality education. The student to teacher ratio size is small so students feel like they are getting a better education. There is also multiple campuses which is nice. I would totally recommend for someone to attend Gateway. They even have specific programs for welding and Gateway2NKU.
Earl
It's a decent, inexpensive community college. There is no on campus housing, it is not needed. Some of the advisors need a different career. They have multiple ways of contacting you and notifying you of on campus issues, which can be annoying to get a phone call, a text for each campus and an email.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Gateway Community and Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
My school is welcoming, clean, respected, and I love it.
Excellent. I didn't know if I would be able to make it, but the professors gave me the extra help I needed an I am doing very well as I am on my way to graduation.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I wouldnt have started working full time and moved out on my own so soon. I would have lived rent free with my parents and went straight to school so that I would have my degree and was making money by now.
