I am a PSEO student at Inver Hills. I am really enjoying attending college here. They have a lot of programs through other colleges, where you can get your degree for another college at Inver. They also have a lot of student clubs, so you can really get involved. I find the classes very enriching, and the professors very knowledgeable and good at what they do.

My overall Opinion of Inver Hills Community College is that it's a good college, they are there for you when you need anything. The class sizes are amazing you get to know your classmates and Professors, even though it's my first semester here I really like it. People are really helpful when needed, if you have any questions on anything, the resources are there for you anytime needed. The school just has a great environment with academics and the learning.

I think the motto for this school fits it perfectly. Inver Hills Community College - The Right Direction. This is a great starting point, especially for someone like me who is indecisive toward what I want to do. I have liked the majority of the staff, teachers and counselors. I have never had any major problems. The downfall is outdated supplies and buildings, little funding and stretched out teachers. There is not much to do outside of class. It's really just a place to learn.

Inver Hills Community College is a great institution where the staff is committed to the success of their students. There are plenty of clubs and activities for students to take part in, making finding a niche quite easy for students. Professors are nice, and have plenty of office hours, including online hours for those who would need such. My two years at Inver were great and I cannot express how understanding, accommodating, and helpful everyone on campus is.

I had the opportunity to do PSEO through Inver, as well as a year after HS graduation. I have greatly enjoyed my time at this school. It's a friendly and positive environment, and many of the professors are always willing to give extra help if needed. It's not as expensive as a big university, so that helps with the financial aspect. I would recommend others to take classes at Inver.

I really love the staff and Faculty there. While their buildings and campus might not be the newest or most nice, you can tell that their professors truly care about you. They prepare you not just to take a final, but to apply what they have taught you to the real world.

Overall, I appreciate the opportunity to be able to further my educational skills and im excited as well and i believe this college is a great fit for me and i think it will help in mapping out my future. School is very important to me because i know it will make my options for work better and just that alone will be a blessing. Honestly, life is hard and i just want to make enough money to retire by fifty and live comfortably and not have to struggle for everything. More than anything i don't wanna struggle anymore.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
The advice I would give to my younger self is to make sure to go to class every day, even if I was tired, depressed or sick. I would tell myself to be more serious about my future since when I first went to college, I wasn't. What you do your first few years in college affects the rest of your life, and I feel like I didn't make the some of the best choices myself.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Inver Hills is a well rounded, diverse college that offers a wide variety of class choices, who caters to working students who want the feel of an open campus.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about Inver Hills is they don't offer as many night classes that fit with my transferring guide. I have specific classes that I want to take that are eligable.
My classmates are mostly young, right out of High School, with a few sprinkles of ethnicity, diversity and older adults looking for to further their education.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish I had known how important a general education was before coming to Inver Hills Community College. I have earned an Associate of Applied Science and while this education gets me in the door for jobs I am realizing how important the general education courses really are. I have become interested in so many knew fields of study and find myself becoming a well rounded person not only in life experiences but in mind expansion.
