I don't brag about Iowa State University.

I tell them about the beautiful campus that houses Iowa State.

I tell them that at Iowa State it is impossible to fail. We have programs and learning communities that will help you succeed. We also have supplemental instruction classes for all the classes we take, and we also have free tutors. I brag that it is close to impossible to fail here.

There are so many ways to get involved, and many opportunities to get free or cheap stuff! There are free movies outside, dollar bowling, crazy fun clubs and intramurals, and a great student atmosphere. The campus is also gorgeous; there are trees everywhere! It is also easy to get wherever you want to go when you want to go there because the campus is quite centralized and the busing system, CYride, has a route for every need, whether you need to go across campus or to downtown Ames. In just a word, Iowa State is AMAZING!

I tell my friends that my school is very prestigious, has tremendous school spirit, and is a very career-focused and successful school.

It's a beautiful, small college town atmosphere, and everyone here is so friendly and helpful. From the staff to fellow students, they are always willing to help you out and answer questions. If they don't know the answer, they point you in the right direction to someone who does know the right answer.

Lots of activites for all types of people and many study groups to participate in to help with study habits. There are lots of food choices in a variety of buildings.

There are great number of clubs on campus (over 200) for any number of different interests, including groups designed to help people academically. These 'Learning Communites' go beyond the conventional university and put students taking the same coursework together with students a few years ahead in order to help them along. Adding to this is the undeniable beauty of the land-grant institution: I have found that there is nothing makes doing homework easier or more relaxing than doing it outside somewhere on campus. I can never explain how happy I am with every facet

The campus is big. People are nice. Classes are fun and interesting. Teachers are very helpful. Housing is great.

How big and diverse it is. You can pretty much find any place to study that is quite, without having a ton of people around to bother you. Plus, the diversity here is amazing. We have a ton of different cultures meshing together here, and that makes the campus that more unique.
