The education

The best component about Iowa State University is definitely the amount of activities there are available. Throughout campus, nearly everywhere you look there are flyers detailing a club or organization that is meeting soon. These organizations get people to become involved in campus and campus-life by "belonging" to something. Some students need this sense of community in order to enjoy their time at college. Thus, I believe the clubs and organziations really strive to welcome everyone! Also, many of these activities help the community such as Dance Marathon, which is an activity I am happily involved in.

Iowa State has a variety of opportunities for people of all kinds and has multiple different activities to be involved in. There is never a boaring moment and there are always opportunities to meet new people, create friends and start your own groups. The best part of Iowa state is that people from all around the world have come together in one place to aquire an education and then go out and use their skills to impact the world.

The Greek community is THE best in the midwest. There's so much more to greek life than what movies and tv shows illustrate. If you want to make a variety of connections, a community impact, be a leader, know how to manage different people, and have a lot of fun GO GREEK.

Very enthusiastic professors/very knowledgable

The best thing about my school is the free time I have to explore clubs, extracurricular activities, and to practice playing instruments. And when I do meet with teachers and advisors they are very knowledgable in the field and offer me sound advice.

The Professors. They take time to help you and in many big schools that is not the case. They care about the students and are always willing to discuss with the information that you need. The are on the cutting edge of technology and education.

I think it's great that there's always something going on, and that there's really a club for everyone here. It's really easy to find things to do on campus for a good price (or for free).

The best thing about Iowa State University is deffinitly the atmosphere. Atmosphere is important because where you are and how you feel at that place affects what you do and how you interact with people. Iowa State has a very accepting atmosphere and by accepting I mean everyone is welcome. There are groups and activities for every sort of person and if we dont I'm positive that there is someone else on campus that's into whatever you are looking for, you just have to find them. This is what I consider the best thing about Iowa State.

I think the best thing about my school is the friendly atmosphere. There are always people smiling and waving on the way to class and I find myself missing campus during summer and winter breaks. I think this is the best thing because everyone who goes to school here can feel welcome and at ease when walking to class. No one wants to walk to class and feel unwelcome so when I first came to campus and experienced the environment it put me at ease.
