well I have to be honest I am a online student starting my first year out of a 4 year degree. I only have reviewed the campus online & my submissions are from what I have researched. But I was as honest as I could be. I think this University is a great way for people like me to earn their degree. The staff & enrollment staff have been so helpful & understanding. I have taken my first live seminar & found it to be engaging & productive. I'd totally recommend this University to others. Thanks & God Bless.

When I first enrolled with Kaplan I was totally unsure of which classes or what I really wanted to be. But after about 2 yrs I finally realized the importance of knowing what I wanted Yo achieve and what it was going to take for me to become that awesome individual who strives for excellent with Kaplan University

Kaplan, now known as Purdue University Global, has a wonderful staff. From the moment you talk with your first advisor, you feel welcome and confident that you will succeed. The professors are very involved and are happy to help you whenever needed. The financial aid department is very knowledgeable and are willing to help you at all times. The online campus is easy to navigate and live seminars are held each week to explain the unit assignments and what is expected. There are extra webinars given by the university to help you with APA guidelines, study groups, and time management, to name a few. I have been extremely pleased with my experience.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Aussing I could go back in time as myself as a high school senio knowing what I now know about college life and making the transition, I would have trained myself to be a have better study habits. I have mastered the study skills now that I am almost done with my Bachelors Degree but I believe had I mastered this skill back in high school, the transition would have be a lot easier and I would have not felt like I was bombarded with work 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the time. Trail and error was the key my first two years at college and all though I manage to succeed and learn how to balance play and study, I feel that it would have been better spent finishing up my degree this time last yearl. All though I feel that I am not behind, I think that being able to set aside study time and know when to turn off the computer and cell phone would have been a great lesson learned in high school. I just assumed that since I was a A student in high school it would carry over to college, doubting the work would be as hard.

  6. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about my school is that the teachers only interact with you online, through emails or AIM. This is the worst thing because if you have a very important question it may not get answered until the next day, or even two days after. I emailed my teacher with a homework question, and the homework was due the following day, I turned in the homework then I ended up getting the emailed responce back from my teacher. I've learned that when doing online schooling you have to be very independent from your proffesors and cope without emailing.

I believe Kaplan is best known in the nursing world.
