The worst thing about Kent State is the size of their classes. Many classes have at least 100 or more students. It is sometimes difficult to get help from professors one on one.

The worse thing about Kent would be that the library closes at 9 on weekends. This is the worse becuase I have a lot of projects and research that I tend to be up late doing. If it was open later than I would be able to get more done and have more free time.

The first thing that comes to mind for many people when they hear the words "Kent State" is the shootings on May 4th, 1970. I think this negative connotation associated with the title of my university is the only 'worst' thing I can label to Kent State University. I wish people would come visit Kent State, see the memorial and learn what our May 4th task force has done to educate all who visit about this historic date. I think Kent State has been overlooked by many because of this prejudice that gets overplayed especially in the media.

That would definitely be the sidewalks in the winter. Seeing everyone carefully tip-toeing to class making sure not to step in that slippery patch of ice, knowing that any false step could lead to every person in your vicinity laughing with you because it's already happened to them. I guess, I could call that the worst thing, but then again I could just call it an occupational hazard, too.

The worst thing about my school is the fact that sometimes they don't do a good job at spreading the word about on campus events that may be interesting for many students. This results in a lot of people missing events and activities that may help them get involved and meet new people. Don't depend on just flyers to tell you what is happening - pick up the news paper or go to the student center and look on the activity board to find things that interst you.

The fact that financial aid doesn't care, cause they told me to just go to tri-c and that they couldn't even try to help me.

The worst thing about my school is the location, because I live in Cleveland and commute to Kent OH.

The wors thing about my Community College is the counseling and advising Staff. My experience with the advisers has always been bad and ends up going through un needed advice and class suggestions that do not appeal to me.

The worst thing that is present at my school is the separation of different races and ethnic backgrounds. Even though the University has a diverse amount of students, it seems like everyone sticks with their own group. It would be much better if everyone had an open mind and didn't use skin color or ethnicity as a barrier of civil communication.

I haven't found anything wrong with Kent State University. Everyone that I have had contact with have been extremely helpful.
