The snow. In the winter the weather can be brutal. I'm more of a fun in the type person and Kent usually gets a lot of snow in the winter.

There's really not one thing I dislike, but if I pinpointed one thing it would have to be the advisement schedules. Possibly being able to have more advisors to consult on in case of emergencies would be the best.

The worst thing aboout my school would have to be the food. The same things are served every week. It just gets tiring not having any new food choices.

That the courses for the major I am persuing are only offered at the Kent Campus and not at other branches like Tuscarawas or Stark Campus. I have to commute 1 hour and 15 minutes one way just to get to college because I live in New Phila with my son and am unable to move to the city of Kent.

There can be a tendency towards irresponsibility on campus. The administrators sometimes seem to have the mentality that kids will be kids and so they will not deal with issues as authoratatively as I believe they should. When students, especially those belonging to sports teams or fraternities/sororities cause an issue, it seems like most of the time they are let go with a warning and these students do not have to face the full consequences of their actions. This kind of mentality will not help those students in the future and thus may eventually negatively affect others as well.

The worst thing about my school is the location. I really don't like the cold or snow and that is what the weather is like most of the school year. When it snows really bad or is really cold outside students don't want to go to class or do any type of activities. If Kent State was in another location I would love it so much more.

The only thing that I can say is bad about the school is the parking. Sometimes it takes forever to walk to and from campus. The amount of parking is limited, so sometimes it is required to walk a few blocks away from school.

The worst thing about my school is the cost of admission, room and board. It is extremely expensive and nearly impossible to afford living on campus all four years if you are not be helped by your parents or family. You are also required to live two years on campus which has strained me financially for the future.

I think the worst thing is how spread out and hilly our campus is, especially in the winter. It is very windy here and during the winter, that makes walking to class that much worse. You have to manage the time it takes to walk to class better than other schools because the average walk to class is probably around ten minutes. It is nice though seeing all the trees and squirrels everywhere. Even walking to dinner takes me about ten to fifteen minutes, but I do not even notice anymore. I cannot really complain about anything else here.
