Lackawanna College is a great college. Classes range from students just out of high school to adult learners looking to further their career. The teachers I had were eager to help if you had an issue with the material being taught. Most teachers did not require you to purchase your books from the bookstore which was a huge benefit when purchasing books! I would recommend this college to anyone!

Lackawanna College is an education institution that offers a variety of opportunities. Even as an undeclared student, the schedule and analysis to help you find a major that suits an individual is an activity that is strongly appreciated. The class sizes are not too large or not to small which is an excellent education scenario. The people in the school, professors and alumni alike, provide a range of perspectives that can affect in and out of school life. The professors provide various sources and a range of help both in and out of the classroom. Not to mention the importance of pace and further education attainment. On-campus jobs and opportunities are offered and appreciated. Lackawanna College has certainly has a great impact on me as a student and I cannot wait to continue my education on campus.

I love the small classes at Lackawanna College. All the professors know your name and you become really close with your classmates. The school is located in the heart of downtown Scranton. There is away's something going on downtown for example right now they are getting ready for an Italian festival where all the local Italian food places set up tents around the courthouse, and people can go and get food. Lackawanna College always have actives going on for students to get involved in.

Lackawanna College in my opinion is an affordable and excellent educational institute. The professors are highly qualified and are there for you with any questions or concerns. Lackawanna is always looking for ways to improve communication between the students and staff.

Lackawanna College has organized it's classes to help students who struggled in high school learn things they didn't. The faculty is really helpful and available any time we need them, even if it's after hours. I think it was the best choice for me. I think a larger college would have been overwhelming and I would have struggled to succeed.

The visiting day was a great experience, each tour guide was informative and polite. They also had tables set up for the extra curricular activities and clubs. The instructors for classes were very open to questions about the curriculum and what could be expected for the students at every level of education. It’s a small campus with very highly rated instructors and I can’t wait to begin my college career.

My overall opinion of Lackawanna College is it is an excellent school with amazing opportunities. The campus is nice and small but not too small it is perfect, well to me anyway. I am going into my second semester at Lackawanna College at the Lake Region Center and I could not be more excited for what is happening next!

It’s a safe environment, helpful staff. Scranton, PA is a good area to be in and Lackawanna is a great school and a great opportunity. I would recommend anyone to go there, staff won’t hesitate to help you if you need help in anyway. The athletics department is also a great program.

My opinion of Lackawanna College is that they care about their students a lot. Because the teachers care about how their students partake in their education, they also make sure we know what our grades are even if we are failing the class. Lakawanna College has tons of curricular activities like sports and student lounge for the students to relax in they can play games or study for test or focus on their school work that needs to be done. They have a student wellness program that they have almost every week it is when you sign a form and take a survey to receive points through out the months. it gives you the chance to feel like you belong. There is writing labs to help you with essays and papers that you are having trouble with. They also have tutors for all different courses, it helps the students that are having trouble in classes and they do help. the teachers are also very helpful with students when they need the help they deserve. i am glad i decided to join Lackawanna College when i did best decision i have ever made.

Lackawanna College is an amazing school, if I were to recommend any student to a college I would tell them to choose Lackawanna. The in class sizes are my favorite thing about the school. The classes are small so not only can you get to know your professor and fellow peers on a personal level but you can also understand the materials that are being taught.
Rashaad - 11/02/2016
Lackawanna is a good community college. The classes are well ran, and the professors are good to get along with. They have a great football program which sends the players to great schools that are division one. The location is okay and it is easy to do great here.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself the first thing is would say is make better decision because if you don't you will suffer in the future over them. I would also tell myself to take life a little more serious because you only have one life to live so make it count. Also academically I would tell myself to work harder because sports can only take me so far but my education and take me so much farther. In conclusion I would tell myself to make wise decisions, mature a little more, and work harder.
