Quincy college at Plymouth is a great campus! I enjoyed learning there, the students are great and the teachers are even better! Class sizes were small which aloud for a lot of one on one time. Teachers are very caring, understanding , they do a great job helping all students.

I like Quincy college it is a great school for people a little older or younger that also work. Able to find classes that work with your schedule. Only thing for my professors in substance abuse/human services it can go off topic and some prof. Tend to overly push their political ideas on the class and there not room for discussion unless you agree with them.so I feel those professors should be mindful not to disclude anyone or offend people.

Quincy College is an excellent two year community college. The teachers are very knowledgeable and passionate about the subjects they teach. Recently, the school has opened its doors to high schoolers so there are tons of new bright, and bubbly faces to interact with each day.

If you're trying to get your studies out the way and you're really focused about succeeding then Quincy College is definitely the best for you. Being a student at the school is actually good; there are friendly staff members and also friendly students. The academics are good that you can partake in and you actually can learn from. If people were to ask if they should attend Quincy College I would highly recommend it to them.

Quincy College is a 2 year college with two locations. One is in Quincy and the other is Plymouth. The Quincy location is very easy to access with public transportation. The Plymouth location is easy accessible and located in a newly renovated building. Class sizes are small and professors are easy to get in touch with.

I believe QC is a good place to start your education, at least for an international student. I plan on eventually transferring to a 4 year university and QC is more than willing to help me fulfill my ambition. The teachers are very friendly and class size is small, so you do get more one on one time with them. Students who need more time to adapt will enjoy this aspect. Financial aid is provided and the costs are generally low to begin with. Overall, as I mentioned earlier, it's a solid first step towards a degree.

Quincy College is a two year college run by the city of Quincy, MA. Quincy is the home of two U.S. presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams, as well as home to many other celebrated patriots. Just outside of Boston, where education is a vital part of life and the economy, Quincy College students and professors bring the same enthusiasm for education to class. As a small school most of the students here are from the area and on their way to other institutions for education in various health care fields but, we get a lot of international students as well as adult students, like myself. The amenities of being in the heart of a vibrant downtown neighborhood are tremendous. Besides the fact that Boston is minutes away, you can see the skyline from any rooftop, Quincy offers great food, public transportation, beautiful Nantasket beach and nature trails, like the Blue Hills Reservation. There is a very lively mixture of modern and historic buildings with local and international flavor. Quincy College just this year receives accreditation to begin offering four year degrees mainly in health care and bioengineering, which is a driving force in the local and regional economy. Our biotechnology department receives grants from some of the country’s top biotech companies to train the next generation of scientists as well as their own staffs. Education here is unparalleled for value; one receives a degree rivaled by other regional colleges at a very affordable price. If I could start my education again, and I have, I would begin at Quincy College where you get a great introduction to what a college education is all about and what it can offer.

Strengths: Attracts learning, funding and collaborative networking opportunities for SBA’s. Strong grant funding and excellent teachers in specific programs. Great talent pool of leadership. Opportunity Areas No standalone campus which attracts a transient population for other service providers housed in the same building. There is no assistance for housing for students. There seems to never be enough space for students to eat. There is not enough laboratory/classroom handle demand. The bookstore manager sometimes cancels orders without notifying students even after merchandise is paid for.

  7. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Other than the advising department I think the parking situation at Quincy College is awful. It's a commuter college and there is probably only 50 parking for students. I don't understand why they moved to a building with such little parking. Most students have to park 3 or so blocks away at the Stop and Shop down the street, which sucks when it's raining and cold out. It's also a little nerve wracking when your taking nightclasses. I sometimes get nervous I could get mugged or raped.
