I think the worst thing about my school is the fact that it is very segregated, students usually only hang around with other students of the same ethnicity.

Again, the focus of greek life. It's 20{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} at SU. Also, there are a crazy number of "JAPs" at SU--Jewish American Princesses. AKA rich Jewish girls from places like Greenwich, Connecticut. Very stuck up, very elitist.

Definitely embracing our diversity. There are so many different cultures that inhabit SU's campus, but we students sometimes refuse to infuse ourselves in with different groups & learn more about ourselves from other people.

Social life is one of the aspects that I consider the worst thing about my school. It is not difficult to make friends here; however, there are not many activities to do around campus when you are hanging out with friends. If you want to do anything, you would have to go downtown or off campus, but that is not always possible, especially when you do not have a car. Life can get somewhat boring on the weekends when you have nowehere to go and nothing to do. It is a bit suffocating at times.
Kimberly
The segregation here is almost blatant, so few of our events and groups are racially diverse. It's a sad truth.

I think the worst thing is the divide from the Syracuse community. There is a major highway (I-81) that literally separates the college campus from the low-income urban community of downtown Syracuse. As a result, a lot of students never see a reason to venture off-campus.

The worse thing about Syracuse is the cost since it makes it hard for poverty stricken people to attend

The worst thing about my school is that sometimes you are stuck with professors that aren't very helpful. This may happen in other colleges as well. There are those times when you are challegned in a class and struggle. I struggled so much in one of my classes. Asking for help to my biology professor was like a slap in the face. He would literary make you feel stupid and always telling us that his class is impossible. I don't let certain classes like this drop my self esteem, instead it encouarges me to work harder.
Yelena
The openness that people lack towards other cultures.

Honestly, there is not much negative things I can mention about SU. If I had to mention something I would say its yearly financial aid package. It feels like they offer you a great financial aid package your freshman year, to bring you in. Once your enrolled, while the years pass by your financial aid package decreases immensely. This is my major disagreement with SU as of now.
