University of Arizona Top Questions

Being from Alaska the majority of my bragging has to do with the weather. My friends are amazed by the idea of pool parties and swimming outside in November. I also brag about how well I am doing in school sometimes. That can be quite annoying though so I keep that to a minimum.

The University of Arizona is in the center of a small college town that eats, breathes, and sleeps the Wildcats. There is always somebody new to meet and the people are friendly than most other places. The instructors are, more often than not, available to help with any issues that may arrive. And, with the fantastic support given by the students during school events through the ZonaZoo, the pride shows through anything. And, this year, we brought home the Territorial Cup from the Dual in the Desert.

I dont generally brag but when you have the most beautiful women at your school (like my girlfriend, and admittedly all of her friends) it becomes very easy to brag. Also out sports teams are exciting to watch especially basketball. There are not many teams in the NCAA who have beaten Duke in March Madness but the University of Arizona team did so in a resounding fashion.

I tell them I pay a very low tuition and that my credits are transferable. I also tell them if there came a time when I would need to work then an employer would hire a degree holding candidate (associates of science and an associates in social and hehavioral science for me) over someone who does not have a degree. It is a good backup plan for those of us who may have to work immediately after acquiring an associates degree.

I brag about how great of a campus Arizona has and how community like it feels. The basketball team is also a great asset for the school. Our rec center is state of the art and possible one of the best gyms I have ever seen. The weather is perfect during the fall and it gets nice and cool during the winter which allows for a nice changbe in temperature from the blistering heat of summer.

That there are like, 500 kids in my psych class. I brag about it because I went to a high school with a total of 400 kids. So one of my university classes was bigger than my entire high school!

When promoting the University of Arziona to friends, especially my brother who is attending ASU, I usually talk about the social atmosphere and campus. Living forty-five minutes out from the campus, I can notice the difference almost immediately the mood of acceptance ad diversity. At the U of A, there is room for everyone as corny as that sounds. There are sports groups, film groups, religious groups, political groups, LGBTQA groups, cultural groups, writing groups, book groups, etc. And each of these groups meets somewhere beautifully built or upkept at the university.

I brag about the environment of college life, when you are a freshman, first year of college hits you. Your in a whole different community like your away from the city and in a different world. This is the time to have true memories but also the time to be an adult you become responsible for everything you do there is always benefits such as our student union. I also brag about how am the first from my family to attend a university and that if you want to join the wildcats you need to learn how to bear down.

It's research opportunities; many labs are open to undergraduates. In fact, that is who the Senior research wants on the teaM.

This school's students are absolutely fanatical about their school spirit, and the faculty actually cares about the success of their students. Everyone on campus is friendly and any type of person can find a place for friends. Here we have the ability to choose exactly what we want to do with our lives, no matter how diverse those ideas may be.
