I truly feel that the UA is a wonderful school for many different types of people. There are so many clubs and activities, that any person is guarenteed to feel at home. Also, Greek Life is huge, so if someone wants to get involved right after summer, they can meet people that way. The professors are personal and very well known. Education is worth every penny at the University of Arizona.

This school would fit a person that wants to study any of the sciences. UA has a lot of offer in its medical, pharmacy, and astronomy departments. Many of UA's majors are among the best in the nation (dance, architecture, lingistics, etc.). People attending UA should desire a quality education that rivals any of the bigger name colleges.

People attending the University of Arizona should understand and value the importance of academic achievement in their life. He/she should exude an eagerness to learn, a healthy respect for others, a natural ability and willingness to interact with others on a daily basis. S/he should lead by example through their social life, academic carreer, and spiritual beliefs.

People that aspire to attend the University of Arizona should be friendly and accepting to all. As a college student, this is a major importance and will often be a requirement throughout your career. Also, one should be able to adapt to new situations; college is a tough transition, one that takes a while to adjust to. However, it is easier if you are outgoing and find a solid friend base to rely on. The last criterion is that you must be willing to pursue your dreams and be able to enjoy your experience as a college student.

There is so much to do like going to sports games on campus, heading down to the music scene on 4th avenue or getting late night burritos at Highland Market. So much happens on campus from clubs, to intramurals and of course all of these things come AFTER studying. Be prepared to study hard and play later.

I believe the type of person that would attend this school is someone that has tons of school spirit, would love to meet new people everyday, extremely into our school sports and loves to have fun and go out with friends. this is a very social university.
