What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I wish I had known that I would become so homesick, and also that I wanted to be a science major so that I could've gotten started earlier!

How much it truly costs to be a full time theatre college student. Beyond tution and books, theatre majors are required to purchase tools necessary for class for example: drafting tools, paper, rulers, paint, stage management kits, first aid, and much more. As well as the time it takes to be a theatre major, how many hours are put in daily before school work.

I wish I would have known that CAD is not included in the architecture program, and that there are classes of 300+ people and still not enough seats for everyone who needs to take them. This school does not have enough classes for the size of its student body.

That high school really doesn't prepare you for college.

A big reason I came here was casue of SALT but it turned out to be a waste of money and not helpful . Also, how many gened classes you have to take before you can take major cources.

I wish I had known how much tuition for non-residents would increase annually. College isn't harder then highschool it just takes a little bit more work and focus.

I would like to have had a chance to get more information on clubs and activities. I feel like you are thrown in college and have to discover clubs by yourself. More people could be involved if they knew about the clubs. The University of Arizona should offer programs to help you get involved when you are a freshman.

Nothing, I was well informated. They were really good about giving out the right information and all questions we had were answered long before tuition was paid for.
