University of Arizona Top Questions

The best thing about The University of Arizona in my opinion, were the teachers. I had many wonderful professors that guided me through my classes, challenged me to rise above my abilities, and were always there to listen to my needs and concerns. I learned a great deal about the field I chose to study and also about life in general from each one of my professors at the University of Arizona.

Depending on the major you choose, you can find some wonderful professors who still have a passion for teaching and love what they do. The U of A also offers some programs that are recognized as being the some of the best in the country; including pharmacy, astronomy, and nursing. I also think there are many programs offered that many just choose not to take advantage of; such as internships, job fairs, and career building workshops.

It is research oriented and provides a good career center to ensure employment after graduation. It also is very updated in programs, technology, and is future-based. The university is also very open to different cultures and races. Its instructors are very diverse and know the material very well and are excited to teach it. One of my favorite qualities this university offers is a good counseling department. They are friendly and stress-free. Since it is a fairly big campus, there is a big concern for the safety of the students, they offer safe rides and shuttles across campus.

The best thing about my school is its location. You can mostly count on Tucson, Arizona being dry and hot. Snowbirds know how lucky we are to not have snow since they over populate our city every winter. Like most campuses, ours is extensive and open. It's convenient to have blue skys almost year round when your walking from class to class outdoors. To those who can't stand the heat, I feel sorry for because I love my Arizona desert!

The University of Arizona offers many ways to get students involved. There are clubs for all different areas of study and interests. Also, the school offers special discounts for students to attend school events and for student supplies.

I consider the University of Arizona a premier institution. I am pursuing a career in medicine--this college has a strong reputation for its medical studies and research programs. So far, the students and faculty i have met are just welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The overall cutlure is everyone's success is their priority. Many of the professors are leaders in their fields, and we are just blessed to have them.

The University of Arizona has many things to offer. One of my favorite things about the school, is the school spirit it has. II went to a high school that excelled nationaly in sports, so my high school had lots of school spirit. When lookig for colleges this was something that i considered when looking for colleges. The school spirit the university brings allows relief at the end of a long week when you can go and enjoy a school game and cheer with the rest of your friends and classmates.

School spirit is outrageous and beyong belief at the Univeristy of Arizona. Games, events, meeting and even regular school days can leave you seeing blue, white and red. Faces camouflaged over with decals and the letter 'A', track jackets and pants, shoes, bags, jewlery, you name it people are wearing it on the daily to support their school. If you are one to dive head first into school spirit and be one of the peppiest, then University of Arizona is for you.

There is no "kind" of person that should attend this school. Everyone should attend this school. People from all walks of life are already taking classes at the University of Arizona. Whether they be older and looking to get a higher degree, or just taking a class for fun. Or the ones fresh out of high school with the whole world ahead of them. Everyone is friendly and you can receive a degree for just about anything here. No one is disregarded for their differences.
