University of Arizona Top Questions

The University of Arizona is a school involved heavily in research. I consider the opportunity for both education and the opportunity to participate in cutting edge research the best thing about my school. In specific the engineering department, of which I am a student, has several projects going on in conjunction with the Bio-dome. As a student I am able to get an inside pass at the systems and inner workings of the projects and research going on there and even the opportunity to participate in such projects at various levels of interaction as my education progresses.

There are a lot of clubs and opportunities to get involved. You can find anything that interests you, or you can start your own club. The clubs are fairly proactive and really make the campus vibrant. It also helps you meet a lot of people.

I love my school's campus. The old buildings mixed with the contemporary buildings-that-are-also-art inspire my creativity. Also, campus is sprawling; there is a lot of open space decorated with lush trees and well-trimmed lawns. I love seing nature as I walk to class because it rejuvenates my soul before I spend another hour in class. The beauty of my campus is priceless and is, in my opinion, the best attribute my school has.

The diversity at the University of Arizona is unmatched and in my opinion, one of it's clearest strengths. People come here to study from around the world, and by bringing their unique experiences and different backgrounds with them, they contribute to educating the student body in ways beyond academics. By being on such a diverse campus, I believe that I am both more accepting of and able to interact with different cultures in a way that I couldn't entirely have been had I gone to a smaller, more specialized school.

I consider the best thing about my school to be it's community. We are all Wildcats!

On an academic level the school really helps us to succeed. They have a great tutoring center where you can get help with all your classes. I like this because it takes the pressure off and gives you the confident that you need to get your work done.

I really like the resources and facilities available to students. The libraries provide students with a good wealth of information. I get support from fellow Native Americans at our campus Native American center. I have recieved helpful tutoring from our student tutors. I like to go to the rec center once in a while to enjoy the pool. I feel we are provided good services.

There is a lot of diversity and history at the University of Arizona. The university is a top-notch research school.

The best thing about The University of Arizona, other than the commendable community and the welcoming environment, would have to be all the opportunities on campus. Before attending The University I have always been so indecisive about what it really is that I wanted to do with my life. After a few meetings with my advisor I wasn’t even aware of how broad my thoughts were about careers. Now my head is overflowing with ideas and I’m only a freshman!

I feel that the best thing about my school is the environment. Walking around campus at the right time of day provides an incredible experience. Along with this is the atmosphere of students studying diligently. Our school has such a history behind it and such a future ahead of it that it makes me very proud to be in its presence. The city of Tucson has recently been noted as a close community, which I especially feel at the University of Arizona.
