The students at UCSB love to spend their time in frivolity; I always like to say that everyone here knows how to work hard and play harder, though some would say, on a separate note, that the students here are the most intelligent idiots you'll ever meet.

Usually the underclassmen's classes are in lecture halls. So the classes contain over 100 students. Usually people walk in and sit down. Not much social interaction goes on during class, unless you have friends. In our discussion section though, is when we have the opportunity to talk amongst one another and get to know each other. It is there where study groups are formed and where you get to meet the people in your classes.
Alisa
Friendly, on the same page, but not often helpful with study groups unless you make the effort, intelligent
