some of the best years of my life so far. Uconn is a place you'll never forget and alot of crazy spring weekend party night, intramural sports games, and meeting alot of cool people first hand can show you what I mean alot more than this write up will. I highly recommend Uconn.

Jessica

Every year is going to be different at UConn, but there will always be things to look forward to, people to meet, and things to learn. Make sure you find an adviser that you like, who can help you,, and pays attention. Often students find themselves in a jam when their schedules aren't working out right because an adviser hasn't been paying attention. Everyone will tell you South Dining Hall is the best. But its not worth waiting in line. Go to Northwest. UConn can be a very fun place to go to school, but don't be stupid with your decisions. A lot of things can get you in big trouble.

UCONN is really a great school and Im definitely enjoying my time there

Jessica

I just want this campus to offer more culturally diverse events & activities for all students. I would not change my academics.

if you are looking for a good education, uconn is great. if you are looking for an amazing night life, uconn is not so good. uconn is going to be what you make of it, there is definitely plenty to do, but it wont always seem as obvious as you may like. oh yeah, and please please please do not forget to take advantage of study abroad. if there is one thing you can do for yourself while at uconn, or any college for that matter, it would be GO STUDY IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!

Amy

Stay true to yourself! UConn is a big school and it's easy to get sucked up in the wrong crowd. Make smart decisions and remember where you came from because those people that helped me to get into college, are helping me get through college.

Bethany

I love UConn. The campus is gorgeous and although there may not be a whole lot going on off campus (not walkable distance), there are enough activities to get anyone through the day.

Hunter

It is very hard to get into classes because there are so many students trying to complete GenEds, but not enough staff to teach them. Therefore you end up taking classes that have nothing to do with your major or what you would like to explore as a major.

I'm not going to lie. I HATED UConn my freshman year. I was barely involved, I was bored, I was far from home. But then I lost the nagging boyfriend and the bitchy roommate, and now I feel so at home at UConn, and I'm loving every minute (well, except for those lovely late night paper writing sessions till 4 am...). My advice to incoming freshmen: -You might be "in love" with your significant other, but if they live an hour or more away, break it off if they're not coming with you. Unless you REALLY think you can pull off the long distance thing, DON'T. Just don't even attempt it if there's any doubt in your mind. -ROOMMATES. If you have doubts about your roommate compatibility factor after week 2, my advice is to SWITCH. Haste, post haste. Ask your CA about how to do it. 9 times out of 10, you'll be so much better off. I've found this to be true for girls more than guys.

The food is only good at towers.
