I am involved with a sorority. Greek life at UNH isabout 8{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} and it was something I as always interested about so I decided to go through recruitment. I fell in love with it and have been involved ever since I went through recruitment. Although Greek life here is not a big porition of the campus, I definately recommend going through recruitment in the fall to get a feel about what Greek life is all about.
There are always things to do here on the weekends. There are programs in the MUB for free, $2 movies, and hockey games. my friends and I always have something to do. I mean there are usually parties going on, but there are always other things to do too.

Greek life is pretty popular on campus, but not too large. Its about 12-14{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} and the people within it are really close. Its a nice feeling to be able to go to any class no matter which one and see someone else in letters. People in dorms leave their doors open, depending on which dorm. If im awake at 2am on tuesday, im either coming back from the bars or the library, depending on my workload that week. Every year we have a bunch of different things that go on around campus like homecoming and the parade, and a lot of other greek events like the Alpha Chi Omega's Lonni Stern 5K roadrace, Pike's Dream Girl, Lambda Chi's Teeter Totter, and Kappa Delta's Greek God. Last weekend I went to one of the fraternities, spent some time in off-campus apartments, and then came back to my sorority house. Saturday nights that I don't drink are still fun too, a lot of the time i go out to dinner with friends or to the movies.

I wouldnt say any club/team/or group is the most popular on campus. It depends where on campus you are that people are more outgoing. THe hockey team is obviously very popular, along with the GREEK system which seems to be growing in social and educational groups. Students in the dorms do leave their doors open mostly in the Freshmen dorms at the start of the year. ONce every has made their own friends the doors start to close. The hockey and football games are very popular. People seem to party whenever they want here. Tuesday is the bar night for everyone over 21 or who has a fake. Thursday is the start of the weekend. Friday is usually the really good party night and saturday is more relaxed. Last weekend I went to parties on Friday and Saturday. If it is ever a weekend and u dont want to drink you can go to the mall, or the MUB plays movies, or there is always something else happening at the MUB that is fun. Otherwise you could just hang out with other friends and watch movies or go out to dinner.

Sororities, frats, and sports teams are very popular on campus. I am in a sorority and I love it. Students in the dorms sometimes leave their doors open. Off campus I go to movies and the mall.

GREEK life is my thing at UNH. Love my Greek friends - many people party at the local frats but i recently grew out of that stage in my life. Greek life is pretty big on the campus I feel although it makes UNH seem much smaller, which isn't always a good thing because everyone always knows everyones business. but the philanthropy events in the spring are always a blast. Off campus - favorite things are the Kittery Outlets - great shopping like J Crew and Coach. Portsmouth is also great in the spring and summer for shopping at little boutiques, getting ice cream or watching the boats pass under the bridge. very quaint area, but can get old quickly because it is very small.

UNH offers a lot of activities that reach out to many different kinds of interests the students have. I am involved with Greek life and they have offered us a lot through resources in the MUB and internet. Many of the students I have seen through the Campus Activities board, sports games and different events such as fallfest and the blood drive.

Greek system is very large here, but I did not join until my sophomore year, so I didn't know a lot about it, there are a large amount of people who don't join. I know athletics are a big deal and many people join intra-mural teams for fun. The dorms are pretty friendly, Stoke is a great one if you're very social, I personally do not like the freshman dorms but I hear people raving about all the fun they had and the friends they made. I suggest looking up all the dorms on their websites to get a better feel for how they are. I was in a quieter dorm Randall but I didn't have a problem making friends. Sometimes it's great to just hang out with the kids down the hall and grab a pizza and avoid your homework. I go out on the weekends but I always see great fliers for sober events to do at the MUB.

There are many different ways to get involved here at UNH. THere is something for everyone. I personally chose to join a sorority and it helped me meet a lot of new friends and stay involoved on campus.

I am very involved in my sorority and other Greek events around campus. Intramural sports are offered often and are fun to participate in.

I think that certain athletic events such as the hockey and football games are extremely popular among students and surrounding communities.
I am glad I joined a sorority because I have built solid friendships with some of the girls as well as being able to take advantage of opportunities such as planning events for the office of Greek Life as the Coordinator of Greek Life Intern.
Sometimes Saturday nights are good for relaxing and watching movies/dinner with friends.
