What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year at University of Toledo?

I wish I had been a little more culturally diverse. This school has a lot of cultures/races that I was not personally used to at home. But I have found that most of the time everyone gets along ok as long as boundaries are respected.

That I wasn't going to want to be 2 hours away from home and that i should consider a closer college.

I wish i would have known exactly what i wanted to major in. I wish i also would have known that i needed to get more involved at this school to make more friends.

Be ready to experiance the big city and small town America all in one place. The city is east and cornfields are less than 5 minutes to the west.

I wish I would have known that the weekends here are dead.

That it would be colder than what I thought. Also that it would be harder to not have a car on campus while I was living in the dorms because the dining hall food would get old quickly. Be sure to bring lots of snacks and such.
