I wish I had known how large the campus was to better organize my class schedule to make it to each class on time.
Cassandra
Prior to choosing this school, I attended a single day event on campus designed to introduce a prospective student to the University as well as a great deal of research. As such, I began school feeling confident that I knew everything I needed to know. However, I was unprepared for the interactive quality of the classes. Each class I attended my first semester had an online component that was used in class for participation. Consequentlly, I had to scramble to buy a laptop and find the money for the laptop, by the end of the first week of classes.

I wish I had known how to say no to friends who want to do something with me when I need to study. I also wish I had known that assosciating with people who have negative opinions of certain classes would make those classes harder for me to complete and do well in.
stephanie
I wish I had known how to study better.
Tori
I knew a lot about Washington State university before I attended, there is not much that I needed to know before I went. All my questions were answered before I went.
Heather
How many on campus and off campus opportunities there are and how to balance them with the responsibilities of a college student! I think my campus is amazing, welcoming and offers SO many educational opportunities but no matter where, no college is cheap. I wish I knew how hard it is to balance school and multiple jobs to lessen my loans and future debt.
Melissa
I wish I knew about the free utilities and resources available at the school. I was quickly introduced to them at the mandatory orientation but did not get enough information about them. I also wish that I knew about more scholarships that come through the school.
Rachel
There are many things I wish I would have known before coming here this year. The biggest thing I wish I would have known was to study more than I did. The work and tests are so much harder than I thought they would be and that made it so that my grades wernt as good as they could have been at the end of the semester.
Richard
I wish I had known exactly what to expect when I went to college. Being a freshman you can get kind of lost for the first few weeks or so. But after that it's just awesome.
Alana
Since I toured the school several times before coming, I knew a lot about the school. There is not really anything I wish I would have know before attending.
Alexis
What I needed to take for my degree
Brittanie
Stay focused on the school work and don't get behind.
Brittney
I wish that I woul have know how ridiculously bit the classes here are.
Lizet
The available student resources.
Emily
Before I came to Washington State University, I wish I had known more about myself. I have matured quite a bit during my time at school and learned much about what I want out of life. Although I still believe that I made the right choice in attending this university, I wish I had looked more critically at what my long term goals were, and what I would get from furthering my education here. I would advise new students to analyze their choices carefully and make sure they look to the future long term, and short term.
Julia
I wish I would have known that the course of study I wanted was offered there. I would have enrolled sooner.
Alicia
I wish I would have known how stressful it is having an advisor that does not care, or even know your name. I went through seven advisors before I got one that actually helped me.
Jenna
It would have been nice to know more about the churches around the area. I did not do enough research before hand and wish I had. It would have saved me a lot of time (although I might have wanted to try them out anyway). Also, I wish I knew my way around Pullman a little better so I didn't feel as "trapped" on campus.
Jerry
There are some many different types of activities to do in the Pullman, Wa area. I which I could have known more about the activities, so that I could have done more during my time at Washington State University.
Pauline
I wish I had understood that those beautiful hills meant real pain in the winter.
