I think it is a great place to be, it is smaller so you know more people around you and feel more comfortable in the environment. This place with having a smaller class size has helped me tremendously as I can have more one on one with a teacher, not trying to learn everything on my own. I would recommend this institute to anyone.

Kinley - 05/24/2019

I really enjoy Western Wyoming Community College, and I would most definitely recommend Western Wyoming Community College to anyone. The class sizes are usually around fifteen to thirty people, therefore there is ample opportunity to ask questions and get one-on-one help from the professors. The campus is very easy to learn and to get from point "A" to point "B". You always see professors and students with smiling faces, and it is an extremely warm and welcoming environment.

Lauren - 05/22/2019

If you are into a small college, ie, don't like thousands of students milling around, then this would be the college for you. There is a moderate level of opportunities, enough to suit the current student population. I think the faculty teach their subjects well, but my main issue with the school is the range of classes offered, however, that is once again to be expected of a small college.

Lynzi - 03/22/2019

It is a really great school! Western does not have a super big campus, so it is easier to find classes and know what’s going on around the school. Other students are very welcoming and kind to new students. The advisors are very great with helping, and making sure we’re okay. Events are a great way to meet new people, and my experience at Western has been really good!

summer - 02/11/2019

Western is an amazing community college, so much so that I'm nervous to graduate and go onto a bigger university. At Western the class sizes are small which makes it easier to learn. Also, your advisors and teachers are always available and happy to help you. They genuinely care about you and make an honest effort to do so. In my three years at the school I have only had a bad experience with one teacher. It's truly the faculty that I am going to tremendously miss when I graduate.

Brandi - 11/01/2018

I have been attending this college for a little over a year, I have had good experience. Some professors can be really off putting but I think you’ll find that everywhere. There’s tons of stuff to do and the people are really nice. It’s a cute smaller town and I really enjoy it!

Patricia - 10/12/2018

When I was first signing up at this school I got in touch with the ACE it center, the ladies up there got me set up in all my classes and I took a placement test for math because let's face it junior year I wasn't that serious about anything, and I didn't place as good as I needed. They've continued to help me throughout the school year, and if I ever have any questions they are always available to email at least, or they are in office an can answer any questions or often fix your problem.

Rachel - 01/24/2018

It's a good school, my professors are always nice, and we have pretty high standards for the students. I don't have a huge social life, but there's always opportunities to get involved. There are small class sizes, and if you want to take a class that isn't offered, they hire professors from all over the US to let you take that class. It's really a good school.

Brittany - 12/29/2017

My overall opinion of Western Wyoming Community College is quite positive. The small class size and availability of the professors makes learning enjoyable and achievable. The only downsides are the lack of shopping and entertainment in the surrounding town and small dorm rooms.

Sarah - 05/24/2017

Fall 2017 will be my fifth semester attending WWCC. It has been a roller coaster for sure but the overall experience has been great! The Residence Halls are wonderful! I had some roommate issues last semester and they were very good at helping me get out of that situation. The class size is great I would highly recommend WWCC.

Ashlyn - 05/19/2017

WWCC is an amazing community college! It isn't far from home and the teachers and staff are just as amazing. The teachers really care about the success of the students and want them to pass and be successful in the future. The teachers go out of their way to make sure the needs of the students are met. There are always activities and sports going on outside of class to make sure that everybody's college experience is one to remember!

Bailee - 04/21/2017

I love Western, the teachers and facility are amazing! The class sizes are just the right amount and I feel like I'm getting a high quality education. If I ever have a question or a problem teachers are always available. There are many different clubs and organizations to join and get involved with. I have had many great experiences and met many amazing people while attending WWCC!

Bailey - 01/04/2017

I love the performing arts department here and I love that it is a small school with small class sizes. Rock Springs is a small town and there isn't much to do outside of the school but I think the education I am getting is well worth the money I am paying and they have so many scholarship offers to help anyone who needs it! I would totally recommend coming to Western!

I think that many different types of students would love to attend Purdue, because it's very easy to find your own niche or a group of people that you get along with, which is very benifical to your whole college experience. Also, there is a big variety of classes so anyone can find a class that peaks there own personal intrests. Finally, there are many a clubs, organizations, and activities out there so anyone can easily become involved in them; they often bring students in with free food, if they already havent eaten in the delicious dining courts.

  14. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I think that it might trouble some students at how large Purdue first seems, but you soon learn it is easy to learn your way around and its not as big as it seems. Some students who dont like venturing from home might have trouble with the distance, but there are plenty of people who are there to will help with those feelings. Also, if money is a very big issue, Purdue may be too expensive for some students. Finally, lots of the dorm/residence halls are a good walking distance from campus.

Someone that is wanting to attend a university should not attend this school.

  16. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The thing that I consider the most frustrating about school is the work load during exams. As a single parent of a one year old, finding the time to do all the reading is especially difficult. A college student needs to be prepared to read at least one chapter per week per class. For a full time student, taking four classes this would be about four to six chapters a week! Homework not included. Now add studying for tests (one or two in a week) and all that reading, yikes.
