It's a great school in the Raleigh area, if you are into the liberal arts this the school for you. All the professors are available to meet with you, the campus is beautiful and everything is close. The classes are at least 15 students per class and not the 50 students like other huge colleges. The sport teams are always active here and is one our best reasons for athletics coming here.

I really enjoy the family atmosphere that this school has. You will know everybody, and if you don't know the students by name you will know them by face. The connections with the professors are lovely, and they can even become a close ally on your academic journey. The campus may be small, but it is full of activities almost everyday. Whether they be writing workshops, intramural sports, musicals, sport games, movie nights, etc. It's also convenient that everything is close together, as it makes traveling to building to building swift. Overall this school has given me a new light in my life, and my performing career. The city is also beautiful, and there is always something to do whether it's on campus or in Raleigh!

I love William Peace University! Everyone on campus wants the students to be successful and there are so many opportunities for students to get involved. What I love most are the connections/relationships we can have with our professors. They challenge us and support our decisions on what we want to do with our careers. We also have amazing departments that are set to help guide us along our journey, the Center for Student Success is amazing and so is the Career Design Center! Peace may be small but it has a big heart that you will fall in love with! Go peace pacers!

William Peace University has an excellent reputation but needs to get better and caught up to other high performing schools. Programs need to be better equipped to handle different types of learners. A big issue is that the teachers seem to not updated lesson plans and seem overwhelmed by the number of classes they are teaching.

I have enjoyed my time at William Peace University. The campus is very well kept and the student body are diverse and inviting. The professors are extremely accessible and are dedicated to helping students succeed. The campus is safe and the food is awesome!

William Peace University is an excellent school for those seeking a degree later in life. There SPS program is flexible and allows the convenience of on line learning on a scheduled basis; weekly assignments, on line discussions, etc. Professors are quite accessible, I took a class from one who lived in Japan at the time of the course. I was also able to keep up with course work on a two week trip I had planned before enrolling.

William Peace University is involved in their community, both on and off campus, and cares about the safety of their students. Overall, the school is well off academically and personally, but recent renovations are geared toward their appearance and not toward concerns vocalized by students and staff.
Tiffany
My overall opinion is that I like the small campus size it offers and more importantly the small class size it offers because it gives the student more opportunity to interact and actually learn. Campus housing could be better as well as the food but the school does have measures in place so that the student population can voice their opinions and complaints. The school also does a good job of tryin to get student involved in events and activities.

Overall, I would say that William Peace University ( previously named Peace College ) is still forming into an actual University so it has some good and bad currently. As a current student, I feel like my education is not worth the money that I am providing the school. But, I will say that being directly in downtown Raleigh and providing me with a close-knit community as well as intimate class sizes has made all the difference in this year not being as terrible as it could have been. However, I do believe the professors need more experience and to provide more challenges in the classroom. This is why I gave it a 3/5 star review.

William Peace is a great college. Everything about it is amazing. The campus life is warm and welcoming, the teaching staff really cares about their students and wants the m to do well and succeed, and the athletics are very exciting and everyone gets involved. So happy I decided to come here!

Very good, all around school and would recommend. Highly recommend to anyone interested in studying virtual reality and video game design. The campus is beautiful and the Raleigh area is a great place to spend time. There is plenty of green space throughout the city and on campus. The buildings are architecturally splendid.

Overall, I love William Peace University. It has many things going on, and if, the school do not, they will willingly tell us what Raleigh has going on. They also, try to make academics the best thing ever. We go on adventures, trips. and everything. The teachers will work around your schedule, (as long as it looks like you really want to learn, making classes and partipanting, and etc). You can see their passion.

William Peace is a great university they strive to make sure students that want to learn to get the best out of there opportunity there. being a current student I did transfer to peace to also play basketball and I have had a great experience. The president is always available on campus and the staff and athletic department everyone is so involved and caring.

It is a nice small liberal arts school that allows the students to have more face to face time with the professors because the class sizes are so small. it is fairly easy for people to be known at the school because there are not a lot of students in the school. Books are included in tuition and off-campus is available.

Love this University, the people are outgoing and helpful in every way. Ready to pursue my dream goal! I have six classes to achieve my credits. William Peace offers many different art and cultural classes, and goes above and beyond their means to help you achieve your goal of college life!

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
In order to find the right college, i feel that the college you choose should be one that you are comfortable with. I think that you should visit the college and take a tour or maybe speak to some professors or advisors. To make the most out of your college experience, you should get involved as much as possible while also balancing schoolwork. I also feel that you should ask for help when needed and never be afraid to. Try to be open to new people and doing new things that are ethical.
A person who desires a closely knit enviroment with members of a similar socio-economic class should attend this school. A woman who wants to live in a clean enviroment with little distractions school attend this school. This school would be ideal for an extrovert because people are eager to talk.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
FOR GODS SAKE GET OUT, DO NOT COME HERE!!! ESTROGEN OVERLOAD! Save your life, time and money and PLEASE go somewhere else! This place has gotten horrible since our new President and i fear anymore changes that are going to be made. Peace is giving out parking tickets like there is no tommorow (trying to get our money), Proffs. and other staff are being fired, majors are being dropped, crappy food, you have to buy your own cleaning supplies and toilet paper, and god knows what else is going to happen. I personally beleive that the girls are les/bi because they could not find a man to please them and add to the fact its an all girls school=major bitch fest and estrogen overload! A joke between my friends is how when you come here it either turns you boy crazy and you can never look at a guy the same way again, except only as if you are psycho and you go after any male because your so desparate to be around some testosterone, OR you sadly turn into a lesbian like all the rest. Anyway, i feel worse and worse everytime i have to tell someone (especially BOYS)that i went to a place like this. An all girls school does not make is easy to meet guys (if you actually are still atracted to them within two weeks of being here). Im normally shy, so being here has just destroyed me when it comes to dating and now i just feel desparate to be around guys now, just being in the same room vs. hanging out and talking is just enough for me, but hopefully over time i can return to normal! So with my fianl words i will say DO NOT COME HERE, BEWARE OF PEACE PRISON!!!!!!!!!
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
There is nothing that I wish I had known before I came to this school. I was already aware of what the school offered from student orientation and also from friends that graduated from Peace.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
A person who is interested in a party school or wants to be around males should not attend this school. A person who wants to be around intellectuals should not choose this school.
What are the most popular student activities/groups?
LMAOOOOOO! There is NO life, especially social life here at all!!! Its so sad and pathetic that its actually funny. Girls stay cooped up in there dorms all the time, very cliqey..umm not many girls go anywhere or do anything, and they bitch about how there are no boys on campus and how boring it is there. I guess being an all girls school they expect us to be one GIANT Sorority..buts its waay cliqey.
Peace college...it should really be called "peace prison" is VERY small, it is litterally another world and im surprised anyone has even heard of us. When people ask where i go, i sigh and tell them and they react in the following ways: 1. they already have heard of peace or 2. they have no idea and so i tell them but then they still dont have a clue what i am talking about. This is a suitcase school, girls here go home every chance they get becaue it is SO BORING here! And if the surrounding area (aka ANYWHERE off campus) was not exciting or fun, it would make this place even more misrible. I don't beleive there is any school pride here and i do not have any experience here to remember becaue when you go to this place you are no way in hell getting the typical college experience.
When we had our old Predisent (Bingham) this place was alright, but ever since we got this new bitch on a power trip named Ms. Townsly, this place has really gone down the drain. It is just sad. The Proffessors (those who are left) are wonderful and really care about students, this is a great place to go to for academics but thats it. Students here actually study, it seems thats all they ever do and im sure every once in a while they talk about classes and what when on during class and things like that. Supposedly if you go here you have a better chance at getting a job after you graduate which i think is stupid because one way or the other your going to get a job after you graduate college no matter where you graduated from. The best classes I have taken here are World Religions, General Psychology and my number one favorite: Intro to Acting. I definetly reccomend them if you choose to go here.
Is the stereotype of students at your school accurate?
some girls do smoke weed, but not all. and yes, being at an all girls college of course there is lots of lesbians and bisexuals here...but there are a few very rare straight girls here, some are nice and the rest are bitchy.
