North Carolina A&T State University is one of the schools that one should go to if they want a top education! The amount of opportunities that are offered on campus is truly astounding! The professors are also very passionate about teaching necessary information to their students! Not to mention, the amount of networking opportunities that are on campus is incredible, leaving students with at least one internship each summer! Putting yourself out there and taking advantage of every single scholarship and opportunity that this school has to offer for you will set you up for nothing but success!

Although I have only been to North Carolina A&T as a visitor, not as a student, if I were to describe the campus in one word, it would be spirited. The students and staff are actively engaged not only on campus but also within the surrounding community and across North Carolina. My first encounter with the university came through its outreach programs to local high schools, demonstrating A&T’s commitment to fostering connections with prospective students.
During my visit, I was struck by the friendly nature of the faculty and staff, as well as the welcoming and relatable atmosphere created by the students. One of the highlights for me was experiencing the energy of the sports games, which are among the liveliest I’ve ever attended. With vibrant music, engaging entertainment, and a festive environment, these events keep people coming back again.
However, A&T is far more than just a “party college,” as others may say. I’ve seen firsthand the many academic programs designed to support and challenge students, as well as numerous spaces dedicated to studying and collaborative learning. This balance between academics and social life is one of the reasons I like this university.
The campus holds personal significance for me, particularly its historic landmarks. Sites such as the Dudley Building, Murphy Hall, the remains of Scott Hall, and the Reflecting Pool inspire a deep sense of respect for the university’s past and legacy.
I have already applied to A&T for the fall semester, and I hope to be accepted so I can be a part of this crowd. I look forward to experiencing the Aggie Pride!

When I visited North Carolina A & T, I immediately knew I wanted to attend there. First of all, the campus is beautiful and the architecture are astounding, but I want to go because of the school spirit and community. At my current high school, the school spirit is less than none and it's vocalized heavily, but at NCAT it was the complete opposite of what I was used to, with people yelling "Aggie Pride!" left and right. Not to mention the people. The people there truly love the school and are not just going to get good grades. The students not only make friends but have amazing networking opportunities and the teachers always encourage them to go out and make themselves known because "Aggies do". All in all the university is amazing and I hope to attend in the fall of 2025!

I believe the diverse culture extends an olive branch to people who are introverted, helping them be more active in today's society. Although the food isn't like a home cooked meal, they provide wide variety of meals and treat for the student to indulge in, which I am grateful for. The professors are available when I need them, and it benefits me to seek them out when I need proper guidance.

I plan to be the general manager of an NFL team. If you are not familiar with what they do they are tasked with essentially running the day to day operations of the team including making contracts for players and drafting players as well. I would have to start off as a scout and then work my way up to positions under the general manager until I finally reach it. My college training has been supplemented by work experience in both the College Football world and as an unpaid intern for the CFP. In addition, my 2 years of experience as a College Football player for North Carolina A&T and as an unpaid intern for the CFP(College Football Playoffs) has given me firsthand knowledge of the operation and needs of organizations. This experience should help me to contribute to any progressive and prestigious organization because the NFL is known for being a top tier organization. In addition to successfully completing required courses in Business Technology, Economics, Business Communication, and Professional Development as part of my academic major at North Carolina A&T State University, I also earned excellent grades on elective courses. The training I received in all of these courses would enable me to immediately become a productive member of an executive staff. I will say that the sports industry is not an easy one, if you do know or have the right connections as well as know how to market yourself to others. These fortunately for me are skills and connections that I do indeed have and will continue to use them. When I get done with my NFL general management days I will be known for someone who always got the job done no matter what. What will be my personal brand will be the word “perseverance”. The race is not won by the swift nor the battle won by the strong but he that endures to the end. I say all this to say that A&T as a school has helped me to learn, grow, and mature for my future endeavors of this world.

I love the environment! Students and alumni are extremely prideful and it shows everywhere! The school itself is also very nice. The campus is huge and spacious with nice buildings. This school is perfect for me, and felt like home right off the bat!
A beautiful campus and great student life. As a black student going to a school with also many like-minded African-American students is a unique experience. I think that the main issue in my years here has been the Mechanical Engineering department needs improvement on the engagement of their professors. It can often feel like they do not care about the students retaining information and learning as much as they care about the students simply memorizing information and passing their tests. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future so students can be better learners.

I love it here especially when me and some friends went to the Qdoba resturant on campus the food was delicious and the employees were very nice especially Jamill Taylor she and the others were so nice and helpful and the service was great and me and my friends enjoyed eating their and we will be back there soon. i also love the games that we have at A&T its always fun and there is a lot of involvement from the students parents and aggie fans.

It seems like a great HBCU University
XAVIER - 07/25/2020
I absolutely love my HBCU so much. I definitively couldn't have made a better decision on where to go to school for my undergraduate education. I will forever recommend this school to any upcoming college students, especially ones considering attending an an illustrious university such as this one. AGGIE PRIDE!!

The school is nice. When I transferred there last year, it was a very welcoming atmosphere. I liked the fact that they have most of your classes in the same building depending on your major. My other institution did not do that. The only thing that I do not like is the price of parking when there a very limited spaces to park.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for North Carolina A & T State University is 53%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020, _____ students were offered admission.
What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I advise myself to buckle down and get ready for the real world simply because it came and smacked me in my face. As much as I thought I was I never fully prepared to become an adult. Another thing I would advise myself to do would be to have saved more money to bring with me to school because its difficult living on my own without my family and having to provide for myself with limitied income.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing was that i did not recieve any assistance with a job search after graduating. The school also is big on fraternaties and sororities so they focus alot on popularity when it comes to voting.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I would have to say I had a little more time management skill because coming to the campus as I mentioned before you will be involved with a lot of different activities, which could interfer with school work.
I think the best thing about A&T is the comraderie and feeling of family around campus. As irritating as it can be that there are few people who are here for the college experience as much as they are for the weekend, I can't deny that the students of A&T come together in the face of tragedy or adversity and stick together no matter what.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
well I did like the fact that staff were very nice when I came into the school. I like the fact that you get o interact in more activities with other people and very important you get to interact with activities that relate to your major.
All of my professors know my name. My favorite class is probably Biology just because my instructor made things incredibly easy to understand. My least favorite class is defenitly physics because it takes a ton of work in order to grab the key concepts of the class. Therefore it takes a ton of study time to get better at. Students at my school especially in the engineering department are always studying and having intellectual conversations outside of class and competiting in there school work. I'm an Architectural Engineering major and my department and advisors are very helpful and I spend a lot of time talking with them whenever I need something. I feel that the schools current academic requiremts are a fine standard. Education at North Carolina A&T is geared towards getting a job and making you efficent in the workplace.
I love my school because it helps promote acdemic success and it prepares us thoroughly for the working world. It is just the right size not to small or too large. I spend most of my time in the student union eating or meeting with fellow classmates. The schools adminstration could be more effecient by getting us information in a timely manner. Students complain about this and tuition often but despite the complaints all students have tons of AGGIE PRIDE. The atmosphere at the school is unforgettable and something that'll be with me my entire life.
