Legacy Family Angel Scholarship

Legacy actively administers more than 30 scholarship funds. Our application process is designed to make it easier and less time consuming for students to apply for the scholarships available through the universal online application. Eligible students may be awarded a scholarship from one or more different funds. All applications must be completed and submitted through the online scholarship system found on the Foundation website

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) – Southwestern Regional Chapter (SWRC) is pleased to announce a scholarship program in honor and recognition of 1.6 million American Veterans who served in the Korean War during the Korean War era (June 25, 1950–January 31, 1955). These men and women answered the call to fight for a country and people they never knew and never met. More than 54,000 Americans died and 103,000 were wounded. To express our gratitude to these veterans for their sacrifices, KASF-SWRC will offer their descendants an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. KASF-SWRC scholarship program will recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated outstanding talents and potential for success.

These men and women answered the call to fight for a country and people they never knew and never met. More than 54,000 Americans died and 103,000 were wounded. To express our gratitude to these veterans for their sacrifices, KASF-NERC will offer their descendants an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. KASF-NERC scholarship program will recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated outstanding talents and potential for success. Awardees attending in college or graduate school will receive a check of $2,000 scholarships from KASF and be able to attend the Annual Awards Gala to be held in New York City.

Korean American Scholarship Foundation-Midwestern Regional Chapter

KASF scholarships (which range from $500 to $5,000) are offered to the qualified Korean American students (including foreign students from Korea). All applicants must be enrolled in a full time program in the U.S during the scholarship application year. If extra funds are available, other students (non Koreans) may qualify for scholarships. Specifically, descendants of American veterans served during the Korean War may qualify for scholarships (applicable to selective regions). To apply for KASF scholarships, it is very important to follow the specific requirements and instructions of the region where the applicant’s school is/will be located during the scholarship application year as the type and amount of available scholarships may differ from region to region.

KASF is organized into seven regions and the scholarship application process is handled separately by each region. KMF Ninja Professional Development Scholarship Program

The KMF Ninja Professional Development Scholarship Program is in its third full year of operation and provides up to $15,000 per recipient, over two years, to support them in achieving their full potential. We are on the lookout for exceptional college juniors and seniors who come from low income, less-privileged families but are mature, ambitious, high-achieving, and have an entrepreneurial mindset. The Program is performance-based and limited to students with intended careers in business, finance, computer science and/or data science. Our ultimate goal is to help these young people, whom we affectionately refer to as "KMF Ninjas," achieve top 1% performance in their professional careers, thereby contributing to happy, fulfilling lives and the ability to significantly help their families, communities, and fellow Ninjas. To achieve this goal, KMF offers a practical, powerful, experience-based curriculum designed to provide Ninjas with a rock solid foundation for early, middle and later career success.
