The National Black Nurses Association offers the Dr. Lauranne Sams Scholarship to a qualified NBNA member based on scholastic achievement, financial need and community service and who is in pursuit of a baccalaureate or other advanced nursing degree.
This scholarship is designed to encourage minorities, ages 17 and older, to enter into the field of strength and conditioning. A minority is defined as an “ethnic minority,” as determined by the U.S. Census Bureau. Applicants must demonstrate they have been accepted into an accredited institution working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in the strength and conditioning field. Awards in the amount of $2,000 are granted and are to be applied toward tuition charges accrued by the student.
The ICSC Foundation / PGIM Real Estate Scholarship awards $5,000 towards tuition, fees, books and supplies as well as a paid summer 2021 internship if eligible.

The CVS Health Minority Scholarship for Pharmacy Students awards $35,000 in scholarships. Five outstanding underrepresented minority students enrolled in a PharmD each receive a $7,000 scholarship.
Walgreens Diversity Scholarship is a $3,000 merit award which may be given to one or more students (scholarship committee will decide based on the submissions) at partner colleges.
The APF Queen-Nellie Evans Scholarship is a $4,000 award that supports minority students going for a master’s or doctorate degree in an accredited program.
The Western History Association offers a graduate student award of $500 for an MA or PhD minority student who is doing research on the North American West.
U.S. minority students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a doctoral accounting program are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time and be or plan to become a CPA.
This scholarship is intended to promote architecture as a career for members of minority communities that are most under-represented in our field. Preference will be given to minority applicants who will be enrolled in a recognized architecture program in the Bay area or who maintain residence in the Bay area even if attending school elsewhere.
