New Hampshire Tuition Programs
There are various tuition saving programs for New Hampshire colleges. For instance, Granite Guarantee is a financial aid program by the University of New Hampshire. Students must be a New Hampshire resident, entering as a first year or transfer college student and be a Pell Grant recipient. The program will cover the cost of tuition for up to four years.
Over 800 students are saving $60,000 in tuition costs over the past 4 years. Also, 30% of 2018 are first year students who qualified.
Also, there is the Regional Student Program (RSP) Tuition Break program for New Hampshire college students. The program allows out of state students to pay a lower tuition rate than the regular out-of state tuition rate.
In 2019, more than 2,000 participating students saved over $11.8 million in tuition costs. Overall in 2019 over 8,000 students have saved $54.2 million through the RSP program. Other states such as Vermont participate in the Tuition Break program.
