Clark State Community College

I started my first semester of Clark State Community College this year, January 13, 2025. So far, it truly has been such a great setting for me. The professors and how they teach, the communication throughout, and everything in between. Clark state was my only real option for the degree of the choosing, but now, after only being a student for a couple months, it will be my top pick for years to come.

Clark state is not only affordable, but it offers plenty of great resources and opportunities. The teacher's seem passionate about what they do, making them excellent educators. It's easy to listen to someone who not only knows what they're doing, but likes it as well! I would highly recommend Clark State to everyone!

Clark State is a wonderful school to get use to college life! with easier academics and professors that actually care. The campus life is pretty boring though because the athletics are not very good and not pushed onto students to go and watch. The study areas are very quiet and offer alot of chargers and other goodies to put you on the right track. Finally the cafeteria food is very over priced but it is probably the best place to study!

It's basically an adult high school. Don't expect fun club activities or a sense of belonging here. Most of everyone who goes here are just there for classes, which I understand is the point of community college, but the professors also seem to just want to collect a check half of the time. The staff, like the people in the financial aid office, are very unfriendly and seem almost predatory with how they offer loans. Unless you want a quick degree in nursing or a specific certificate for a profession I would not recommend Clark State.

I really enjoy my time at Clark state. It is really affordable and close to home. I have never had a bad teacher everyone there knows what they are teaching. The students there are friendly and the staff is too. The staff is very knowledgeable and always helpful and you don't even have to be one campus to get the same service they are really quick to get back with you by email too.

That it's a nice school to go view and everything is nice and comfortable. I have been there and the view is amazing when the sun is shining outside. The buildings are also nice and the food is probably great to eat. Clark state is also affordable.

I have been there for 3 semesters now the disability office could use some work and same with the VA office. they need to communicate better with their students. I am the first in my family to go to college and be in the military so I don't know the right questions to ask or where to go for those questions.

Clark State is a very good. It has smaller class sizes so the professors are able to work with you if there is a problem. The cost is excellent I can get my associates degree and not be in debt to the point that I would not be able to further my education.

Overall Clark State Community College is a great school for new and re-entering students of all age with a friendly staff who are willing to help you achieve success.

Clark State is actually a very great community college. If I were to describe it to someone who has never been there I would tell them, although it is just around the corner from an urban setting it actually has a very rural feel. There is lots of land and it truly paints a landscape. The college is small enough to feel comfortable but big enough to expand with different satellite centers. In recent years that have undergone a renovation that has completely transformed the campus. The classrooms have ceiling to floor windows and it really aides a peaceful feeling to see the outdoors and be using a good amount of natural light. A lot of times I will see professors from different departments collaborating together. For instance I saw a nursing instructor coming in and asking an early childhood education professor what are so great tactics to keep students engaged in the lesson. I think that this is a testimony to how tight nit the school is. The sports seems to do their job well. They aren't too serious but they also play games against other schools. I am sure having an extracurriculars help tons of younger students feel engaged in the college. I have also attended another community college in the area and it was warm or welcoming. Clark State is partnering with lots of universities to create seemless transfer degrees. That means even you if get a 2 year associates that they have correlated a process for pushing you forward to a better degree. Clark State has a great vibe and I highly recommend it to anyone.

When you enter Clark State Community College, you are always greeted with a welcoming smile and the feeling that you are capable of greatness. With the school's interior being continuously updated, it becomes increasingly modern and provides a comfortable learning environment. While the updates are pleasing to the eye, what is truly unique about Clark State lies within the classrooms. Having small class sizes, closely involved professors, and accessible help from early morning to late afternoon, it is hard to feel alone in your personal journey to academic success. Clark State offers countless opportunities for students from all walks of life and I am grateful to be among them.

Very affordable and easily accessible, with a variety of campus locations and hybrid/online courses. Lots of campus resources, programs, and services offered; very accommodating with disabilities. Flexible class schedules, free parking for students with campus security. Very knowledgeable professor and lab assistants. Blessed to be able to attend Clark State.
