This music performance competition is open to U.S. students who are 11-14 years of age as Jan. 1. The competition categories are piano, string (violin, viola, cello, string bass), and woodwind (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone).

peermusic Latin Scholarship
This scholarship is open to students attending a college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico who submit an original musical composition in the Latin genre. Each applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 24 as of the application deadline date.
Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
This award is open to students who are 8-18 years of age that reside in the United States and have not yet graduated from high school. Students must demonstrate exceptional musical achievement, unmet financial need, academic achievement, and strength of character.
BMI Student Composer Awards Program
This competition for original musical compositions is open to citizens of countries in the Western Hemisphere that are 27 years of age or under as of the application deadline. Entrants must be studying music either in an educational institution or with a private teacher.
Clubs of America Scholarship Award for Career Success
This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate students who feel passionately about the career and educational path they are pursuing. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and submit an essay about his/her chosen profession.
Paul Collins Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of Kent County, Michigan. Applicants must be studying applied or fine art at one of the following local colleges: Aquinas, Calvin, Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Community College, or Kendall. Selection is based on academic performance and demonstrated financial need.
Mildred E. Troske Music Scholarship
The Mildred E. Troske Music Scholarship is available for U.S. students who reside in Kent County, Michigan and study music at the undergraduate level. To be eligible for this award, applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need.
Llewellyn L. Cayvan String Instrument Scholarship
This scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who are studying the violin, viola, violon, cello, or the bass viol.
Guy D. & Mary Edith Halladay Music Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. students who are residents of Kent County, Michigan. Applicants must be majoring in music at the undergraduate or graduate level and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Matheon Scholarship Fund
The Matheon Scholarship Fund accepts applications from current high school senior women in Dallas, Texas who plan to major in fine arts, science, or the humanities at a college or university in Texas. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.1 or higher and a combined math/verbal/writing SAT score of 1500 or higher.
