Arizona State University-Tempe Top Questions

Stated earlier, 1/4 together, 1/4 somewhat together, half totally lost. Thats my statistical guess

Students come from all over. That is it. I do not have much to say in regards to the student body. People are people.

At ASU I don't think anyone would feel out of place. There are so many different groups of people that interact with eachother in and outside of class. People of all different racial, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds can be found at ASU and they all interact with each other in some way no matter how different they may be. Politics is a pretty big thing on the ASU campus and you can find a mix of political parties present. There are students who are very left wing, there are students who are very right wing, and there are students who fall somewhere inbetween the two, and a lot of the times students with different political views are good friends.

I like how ASU is like a salad bowl, there are many races you get to know and understand. I like how it is multi-cultural. All studednts interact with each other.

ASU is very large and has a very diverse student body. There's a place for everyone.

I don't believe that there is a big divide between students. If anything, students don't get to know everyone because of the sheer size of the university and also because of the different areas that students frequent. The only student that would feel unwelcomed is the one that sections his or her self away from the rest of the student population.

There are various races and religions on campus. Everybody comes from different economic backgrounds, it is a very diverse campus. A student who was really concentrated on school work and strict academics should probably attend another university. Most students wear shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops to school, its usually very hot. People are usually comfortable amongst people who are similar to themselves, that causes them to stick together. However, diverse activites or events may cause interaction that may not normally happen. ASU students are literally from everywhere. Some people are very wealthy and some people are using all the grants and aid they can get. The financial status is very diverse. There is not four tables that could describe ASU's student body. Students are definitely concerned about how much money they'll earn one day, its on almost everyones mind. Students are politically aware but that doesn't include everybody a lot of people dont care and are more wrapped up in their own lives.

There is a good variety of ethnicities, though some tend to stay within there own groups for some reason. There seems to be a lot of students coming from upper to upper middle class families. I don't think any type of student would feel out of place, the school is large enough so there's someone for everyone. People wear causual clothes to class.

Lots of clubs but I didn't participate so I wouldn't know.
