It sounds like Atlanta Metropolitan State College has a solid academic foundation and supportive professors, but maybe the social scene could use a bit more variety or ongoing engagement throughout the year to make the atmosphere feel livelier. Sometimes, colleges do rely heavily on kick-off events early in the year, but ongoing clubs or interest-based gatherings can help keep things more exciting. Have you thought about joining or suggesting additional student activities to liven things up?

I love Atlanta Metropolitan State College. I transferred from Georgia Gwinnett College two years ago and loved it every since. The professors are amazing and ALWAYS willing to help. The campus is a nice size and easy walking distance to the next class. The Student Life keeps the campus interesting. I believe that the school should have better food but then again I love to eat and try new things.

The school is a decent school not the best but definitely not the worse. Its a cheap school though if you want to work while going to school full time this is your best bet. Professors are the best thing about this school they understand you most likely have other stuff to attend to.

Atlanta Metropolitan State College does not have the housing that other universities have yet. It also does not have as many extracurricular activities. But it does have a good number of qualified professors who do all they can to see their students succeed.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself to take my time with senior year and not rush to get it over with and get to college. Enjoy it and only focus on school. I wish I could've applied more scholarships and grants, then I would've had a much better chance of getting into the Universiy of Akron becuase out of state tuitution is seriously no joke. It's very expensive.

The institutions admissions, registeur, and student fiscal affairs offers are affected the most by the lack of inter-communication. It is a situation that need be addressed and fixed.
