I love living in the dorms. It was a great way to get to know not only other students but also the campus very well. The dorms were very nice and i will be living in them next year also.

Auburn activities and social life is what makes the Auburn experience. The most popular groups and organizations on campus are the Greek Organizations, SGA, UPC and Encounter. The organizations/groups give a student the opportunity to meet many new people and become involved within Auburn's campus.
Being in a fraternity or sorority is important at Auburn. This is where you will meet your best friends that will be your long term friends. Being in a sorority has opened so many doors and to understand that one would have to be apart of one.

I always leave my dorm door open so people can drop by and say hi. I joined a sorority at the beginning of the year and it has been great. There is aways an event to go to and having a boyfriend in a fraternity is fun too. I dont know what people do if they dont go greek. I have met so many people in the greek system. Football season is huge. Everyone tailgates all day before going to the game. The girls all dress up in cute little sundresses and they guys are typically in button downs or polos and slacks. The fraternityl pledges have to wear a suit and tie which really sucked for them when it was hot outside.

The most popular groups here are the greek life, SGA, and the athletic department. I have been involved in SGA and I am involved in sorority. Students in the dorm do leave their doors open. I have been here for 2 years and never really lock my door. People are always up and either at the library at night or partying somewhere. There is always something to do!

One of the great things about Auburn is its laid back atmosphere: If you are Greek (in a sorority or fraternity), great. You love Auburn and your Greek life. If you are not Greek, great. You love Auburn and your non-Greek life. If you want to party like crazy, you can find plenty of people to party with all of the time. If you want to study like crazy, you can find plenty of people to study with all of the time. I think that most students, myself included, have a good balance of fun and academics.
My closest friends are people I lived with in the Quad dorms my freshman year as well as the people I have had honors classes with.

Football is the biggest thing in Auburn. EVERYONE goes to gamedays and it is one of the funnest things at Auburn. People know when to party and when to study so it is a good mixture. I never feel pressured to go out when I have a test the next day.

I was involved in Tiger Tuesdays when i was a freshman. all i heard was how fun and rewarding the program was so i applied to be a part of this group. I hated it. I was in REACH and i felt like it was poorly organized and i didnt feel like i did anything to "REACH" out to people who needed it. I didnt leave one meeting feelng like i influenced or helped someone. i didnt feel like i had a voice at all and i was confused about why everyone loved this program or what the program was even about. When people asked me what the group was about, i didnt know what to say.

I am involved in a social sorority. This is the first thing that I became involved with at Auburn. It has been a great way to meet people and get involved. I am also a Project Uplift volunteer. I really enjoy this group because it is volunteer work, and it is a lot of fun!
