Auburn University has a pretty campus and everyone is really friendly. When visiting the campus everyone was open, nice and shared many of their memories on campus with everyone. They are very competitive when applying to the school and their academics are very good. My favorite thing about this school is the traditions it has especially when it comes to the sport scene. When the football team wins they take toliet paper and role the trees in Toomer's Corner. This is one of the best traditions on campus and everyone participates in it, its a great way to get involved in the school and sports.

This is my first year here as a transfer student classified as a junior. Obviously, I got the "transfer shock" as well as the feeling of homesickness where I miss my family and my community college peers. However, things have gotten better and I feel comfortable adapting to this new environment. It is always like that! I look forward to many more opportunities here at Auburn.

So far my experience at Auburn University has been quite well. There are plenty of events and activities for students to do especially in the first 56 days of classes . All the professors seem to do their job very well and everyone is so kind and the overall vibe of campus is just really good. This is my opinion as of right now, but it definitely could change within the next couple of months.

Auburn is a beautiful campus and everyone wants you to succeed! It is very easy to make friends when you get involved. The small town community is so welcoming and warm. There are clubs for every need and interest as well as many different religions and cultures.

As I'm about to join the Auburn family, I've so many positive reviews about Auburn University. The school as a community is amazing. they make sure everyone is involved and have their group of people. The school is like a huge family because everyone helps each other and makes sure you are successful with whatever path you are following. It is just an amazing school overall.

I have completed all my undergraduate work at Auburn University, and it has been an incredible experience. Each of the programs I was involved in – The EAGLES Program, The Exceptional Foundation, First Year Experience Office, and so many more – have provided me with a plethora of memories, skills, and experiences that I believe I could not have attained at a different university. As a Rehabilitation and Disability Studies major, I was always looking for opportunities for inclusion and accessibility around campus. With barriers continually being broken down for those with disabilities, individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, and members of many other marginalized groups, it is clear to me that Auburn University holds itself to an incredibly high standard. I am extremely proud to say that I will have completed both my undergraduate and graduate work at Auburn, and feel so thankful that I get to finish out my educational journey at such an amazing university.

After being admitted on an appeal I visited the campus and fell even more in love if that is possible. Auburn has always been my #1 choice. From the atmosphere to the academics to the student body it all fits like a glove. Attending Auburn and becoming a Nurse will be my two biggest accomplishments and I can not wait to be a Tiger. Go "War Eagles".

Auburn University is one of my favorite places on earth. I just graduated last year and have missed it every day since. If I could rewind and do it all again, I would in a heartbeat. It truly is a great school that provided me with a quality education, lifelong friends, and amazing memories that shaped me and I will carry with my forever.

Auburn University is a place that creates students who thrive in not only the educational field, but also in life. By being surrounded by compassionate people who care about the success of others, it creates a community of individuals who can accomplish anything they set their minds to. As an Auburn student, you will not only develop relationships with your peers, but you will also gain a relationship with the place and the community, which will last a lifetime.

In my opinion, it is perfect. It fits all the qualifications I would want in a university. I have only visited twice, yet deans and presidents still remember me by name. It is away from home but now too far so I can see family whenever. They offer plenty of majors and minors to fulfill any career path you want to venture into. There is so much to do on campus. No matter what you are interested in, you will find someone interested in the same things. I am excited about everything I will experience there because no matter how many scholarships I have to apply for, no matter how hard I have to work, I will follow my dreams and attend Auburn University. War Eagle!

I think it is the greatest university of all time. It has a great positive atmosphere. It is great place for students from all over. Auburn football is so much fun to watch. The energy in the stadium is always so hype. The basketball team is a lot of fun to watch too. Who does not love Bruce Peart the greatest college basketball coach. He is a positive force not just with his basketball team but with any and every one that comes to games especially the students that camp overnight just to try to get into the very popular games.

I love it Auburn University and am extremely happy on my decision to attend school here.
I applied and was accepted without touring. After I accepted to the school, I toured and knew this was the school for me. I love the school’s history including the story of the War Eagle. I love the positive energy that you get from all when on campus.

Best place in the world to go to school at. I transferred from a culinary school in Charlotte, NC and the difference is night and day. The people, culture, night life, extracurriculars, and the academics are all on another level here at Auburn. War Eagle!!!

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Mostly to not be afraid to form healthy relationships with your professors, advisors, and get involved with positive forms of extracurricular activity. It's is incredibly easy to become wrapped up in a new world when you are no longer living under the supervision of your parents, so be sure to surround yourself with good company, who will have your best interest in mind. Plan ahead and truly remember that while college is one of the best times people will ever have, it is only a small amount of time in your life and is a tool in order for you to become successful in the professional world. Be sure to read the fine print with anything you become involved in, and don't be afraid to ask a question. People who work for your university want to help you more than you think.
the best thing about auburn are the people.. very laid back and down to earth (i transferred from an extremely snobby small private college, so its great here to me) the number of students seems too large, but it feels so small.. i swear it feels like only a few thousand go here.. biggest recent controversy was the murder of lauren burk and how our administration reacted/didnt react... lots of school pride.. most frequent student complaints are that there are not enough bars
Auburn is in a small college based town. The community accepts all the students and treats them fairly and equally. Being a part of Auburn is like being a part of a family. Football is a huge plus for Auburn and one of the most popular sports here, there is nothing like going to a college football game and feeling right in place. Not to mention Auburn is big on academics and have many accredited programs of study. This is very important aspect of getting a degree.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish I'd known how challenged I would actually be. Because it isn't a private or ivy league school, I assumed that my classes would be easy - a breeze. But after a year, I've found them to be quite the contrary. Each of my classes is very stimulating and thought provoking, and I've had to work very hard to do well. I love the challenge, and I love the education I'm receiving.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Auburn's campus has a very traditional, southern family feel. In my opinion, people with politically liberal ideas would not fit in very well. Auburn is dominated by southern gentlemen and polite ladies who never forget their manners. A rude or impolite person literally would stand out in Auburn's student body. However, Auburn is very welcoming and no matter what kind of person you are, you will definitely be taken into the Auburn family.
Anyone should attend Auburn, it's a great place to be! There's diversity so you can make friends with all different types of people. This is a small town so people who get really bored easily might not like it here. And people going to Auburn should probably like football. And they shouldn't mind that there is no where to park!
