There are hundreds of reasons why I would want to go to The University of Alabama, but I will just list a few. The first reason is the campus, in my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, in the southeast; it compares with Alabama's beautiful weather and seasons. The second reason is the atmosphere. On game days, all you think about is the intense atmosphere that you experience on those Saturdays. Alabama takes pride in its prestigious programs. Lastly, the last reason is education. Talking from experiences and opinions I have been told, Alabama takes pride in getting the best education for its students, and that also drives me to obtain my educational goals.

It's a very attractive University. The school's grounds were well maintained, and the architecture of its buildings was well considered when designed. Of course, my opinion of this school is not so shallow that that is my only point; what truly caught my attention is the university’s strong emphasis on supporting and empowering young women. This commitment is evident in various programs and initiatives designed to foster leadership, academic excellence, and personal development among female students. As a young woman, I found it encouraged me to attend this college, and in fact, it succeeded. I will be attending the fall semester of 2025!

I want to attend The University of Alabama because it offers a perfect blend of academic excellence, rich traditions, and a vibrant campus life that aligns with my goals and aspirations. One of the things that stands out to me is the university’s strong commitment to academic success. With a diverse range of programs and research opportunities, I know I would be challenged intellectually while also having access to the resources needed to thrive. Beyond academics, the school’s culture is something I truly admire. The sense of pride and community at Alabama is undeniable. Whether it’s cheering on the Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium or joining student organizations, I can see how the university fosters an environment where students feel connected and inspired. The spirit and camaraderie among students and alumni make it feel like more than just a university—it feels like a family. Additionally, the campus itself is another reason I’m drawn to Alabama. With its beautiful architecture, cutting-edge facilities, and welcoming student spaces, it’s designed to support student success both inside and outside the classroom. I appreciate the combination of tradition and innovation that makes Alabama such a special place. Attending The University of Alabama would not just be about earning a degree—it would be about becoming part of a legacy of excellence, growth, and opportunity. I’m excited by the prospect of learning, developing new skills, and embracing the experiences that would shape my future in a meaningful way. I am deeply interested in both political science and technical theater, and The University of Alabama offers incredible opportunities to explore these fields. Political science fascinates me because it allows me to understand the complexities of government, policy, and international affairs. I want to dive into political theory, diplomacy, and social movements to gain the analytical skills needed to make a meaningful impact. Whether it’s through public service, law, or advocacy, I am eager to engage with the political landscape and contribute to discussions that shape our world. At the same time, technical theater excites me because of the creativity and precision involved in stage production. I love the behind-the-scenes aspects of theater—lighting, set design, sound production, and stage management—all crucial elements in bringing a performance to life. There is something incredible about transforming an empty stage into a world that captivates an audience. What excites me even more is the intersection of these two fields. Theater has long been a powerful medium for political expression, whether through historical reenactments, social justice plays, or contemporary political satire. By combining my knowledge of political science with my passion for technical theater, I hope to craft thought-provoking productions that inspire conversation and change. At The University of Alabama, I look forward to studying these disciplines in a way that allows me to merge my interests while gaining invaluable skills. Whether it's engaging in political discussions, working on productions, or exploring the connection between storytelling and advocacy, I know Alabama is the right place to foster my passions and push me toward my future goals.

I'm currently enrolled in their early college program and it's excellent. I love the school! The professors I've had were very responsive and the advising is very helpful. I love the campus, it's beautiful. I will say, the parking is a little expensive, and there's not many spaces available sometimes, but its manageable.

  19. What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?

I am Greek, and I love it. It was the right decision for me and it has made all the difference in my college experience. Going Greek isnt right for everyone, some people enjoy making friends on their own. Some dont have the time to devote to an active Greek life. Being Greek doesnt make you king of the school, it makes you a person with such a strong bond to your sisters and your campus that you cant help but want to be involved on campus. Some people find that bond without Greek life but I cant imagine my life any different without my sisters.

  21. Describe the dorms.

There are many different dorm options at the University of Alabama. Some are new than others. If you are looking for space and newer facilities, then Riverside or Ridgecrest are a good choice. Both these dorms were recently built. They include kitchens and living rooms. Each dorm unit sleeps 4 people with 2 bathrooms. However, for girls, most choose Tutwiler. This is because of the location. It is closest to campus and classes. Also, it is right next to sorority row which is a plus for those in sororities. However, Tutwiler is very old and has community bathrooms. For some people this is a major turn-off.
