I think Austin college is a great school. The academic challenge is perfect and it keeps me striving to be better every single day. The availability of the professors is the greatest advantage Austin college has over larger universities. They are always eager to help myself and my peers in any way that they can. I would recommend this school for anybody who is thinking about going to college.

MacKenzie

It's a great educational school and ranked really well. The academics are very challenging and therefore you are getting a better education. NCAA sports are available and played as well as recreational sports. Greek Life is big on campus as is art and community events for students. There is always something to do. Most students live on campus as we have a variety of options from dorms to apartments to cottages.

Kai

Austin College is a very prestigious Academic school that offers an endless variety of majors and Minors. The professors are always extremely helpful and nice and push for success. Many Alumni from Austin College have been a huge help in finding jobs and professional careers. There is a great culture and family experience from Austin College. The people are always nice and the support is there from all angles, It may not be in the nicest location or have the prettiest view, but it's a great school and a lot of fun.

Celeste

The opportunities at Austin College are amazing as I continue to learn more. There is no other college I can imagine myself at. I feel challenged and supported by staff and faculty to do my best. The small environment encourages students to work closely with faculty and prepares us to be leaders.

Karrington

Austin College is honestly very put together academically and really gives students the opportunity to explore their fields and make a difference on campus. Facility involvement and accessibility to staff is something I commend and appreciate that Austin College upholds. However, I do think that they could provide and connect with students more on things like financial advising and guidance on what priorities students need to fulfill (or feel that they need to fulfill) which will help us as future alumni. Besides that, the college does well with giving us the authority to really make the campus our own through allowing extracurricular activities, choices for events, and work study opportunities to be led and modified by students. Since it is a small college, the community is decently sized which has not been a complaint from any student I've spoken too. It's nice to have small classrooms and get to know people you've seen on a daily basis.

Jonathan

Austin College fosters a great sense of community in its students and offers ample opportunity for us to get the full liberal arts experience. By allowing students to wait until the Spring of their sophomore year to declare their major, Austin College gives plenty of leeway for the many of us who came into school undecided on our future. The professors here are top-notch and are always available to help. The facilities could certainly be better, especially those that pertain to athletics, but overall I would recommend Austin College!

Alejandra

Austin College is a great small private college that offers a variety of majors and lot of student organizations as well as local Greek life. Some student clubs include Austin College Democrats, Austin College Republicans, Los Amigos, Habitat for Humanity and many more. The classes are small with a comfortable environment to participate and ask questions in. The campus is overall small which is why many students just walk to class. The students there are very friendly and nice as well as the professors.

CHARLI

Austin College is a place that I am excited to join, I have met several students that attend there presently. Everyone makes me feel like I am at home. The atmosphere at Austin College will make it an easier transition after high school. As I become an Austin College Roo, I am sure that my education there will surpass all expectations as the professors are better than the rest.

Kallie

A unique and inspiring college. It provides one on one help with encouragement to be true to oneself. Each staff member and teacher is invested in students lives and maintains an open-door policy. Classes are small, in depth, and have a great positive environment - pushing each student to do their best.

Abigail

I absolutely love Austin College. The environment and how everyone treats eachother is incredible. The academics that Austin College provides is amazing. Everyone is challenged everyday in an outside of the classroom. I highly recommend Austin College to anyone and everyone.

elani

Austin college seems very save and fun. Everyone is friendly and knows each other from some class or another. Their sports are very intense and great to watch. Plus their food is something you never wanna miss out on.

Shan

As a student who has had a vision of attending Austin College since the 7th grade, and was recently granted admission, I can say without a doubt that Austin College truly has traditions, an environment and a culture that is unlike any other. Not only do the staff students and members of the community make you feel welcome, but it is a vastly diverse campus which allows anyone no matter the background of the individual.

Leslie

I felt very comfortable from the time that I first set foot on campus! The campus is smaller with thoughtful, involved, caring, hard-working professors who care very skilled. There are many intellectual students on campus and lots of activities to participate in. The food was above average and plentiful. Everyone seems to support the athletic teams. The dorms are just adequate, but the college is located in a decent sized town with things to do and a nearby lake with parks.

Erin

I am currently a junior here at Austin College and I have witnessed an increase in academic rigor here. This is something that is very important to me and I cannot commend the school enough for this academic advancement. However, the class sizes are increasing even though the amount of housing is not increasing.

Alex

It seems like a cozy campus with a lot of opportunities. The rooms are a bit squished but everything else seems fine. The community around seems a bit rural but doesn't seem like a bad neighborhood. The time I first visited didn't have much ethnic diversity, but I hope to find new friends and family.

The best thing I have experienced so far is te Greek life at Austin College. All the soroities and fraternities are local chapter and not what you would expect. Pledging a fraternity has opened me up to new experiences and nwe oppoourtunities I would have never had otherwise. 70 percent of the donors to AC were Greek, that statement alone speaks volumes.
