I like the Baltimore city community college . The experience of attending college is likable I like it because I will have experience when I transfer to a 4 year college I like my classes my teachers try their best to get the students to work and learn all though community college is not so bad .
Joke of a School
I do not like Baltimore City Community college. My experience has the been worst experience of college and this is my first time here. We have had lots of changes and the students has to suffer for the changes the board of trustees and the new president made. This change has effected a lot of peoples lives and I do not recommend BCCC as you first choice for college. The school is a total mess far as staff and board members.

The campus is very friendly and welcoming. Advisors/professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. The class room sizes are very suitable and some offer more intmate settiings for those whom focus more in smaller group environments. the library is very resourceful. The campus also caters to those with disabilities in every capacity.

If you have the option to go somewhere else, take it. I only went here because it was easily accessible to me. Most of the administrators don't care about the success of the school or the students. The good professors are too overwhelmed to change much in the school culture. Don't get me wrong- there are great professors. But the school itself has a lot to improve before it will all be great.

The campus itself is pretty average. Most of the professors I have had so far are genuinely interested in the success of their students and actively work to help in any way they can. The library leaves much to be desired and they need updated books, software and a whole new décor in there. The students are the most irritating part of the experience to be honest. A lot of them are very lackadaisical and don't take things seriously. Many of the students are from foreign countries so there is a huge language barrier half of the time because their English is choppy and that makes it hard to communicate. The disinterest of a lot of the students makes it nearly impossible to form a support or study group of eager-to-learn likeminded individuals and that is a huge pitfall.

The academic level might not be the top of the line but for the cost of attendance I think the school is really under- appreciated. The professors genuinely care about the students' success and they are available in ways that professors at larger schools are not.

I've attended Baltimore City Community College for 3 years now under a dual enrollment program provided by the college. The program is free for Baltimore City students and provides college credits for passed courses. While in the program I've witnessed fun classes, organized teachers, and a comfortable environment.

In Overall, Baltimore City Community College is a substantial school if you are mainly focused your school work. They have a few extracurricular activities like basketball, robotics, and even chess. The food is good especially the breakfast sandwiches!!!

I've had a real great time at Baltimore City Community College. The information a lot of the teachers give me is pretty solid I only however have a problem with the critical thinking and speech class since it does not have many options but other than that I really appreciate the hospitality and the trust of this college.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I wish that I had known that this school does not participate with any companies regarding student loans. This makes it a lot harder for those who do not qualify for enough financial aid to cover tuition.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
My school is very unique because it is very diverse. From the location of the school you would not be able to tell that it would be so diverse. My school is unique because all the people that work there are understanding, and really are concerned about our futures. My school is unique because out of the community college's I have been to, it has the smallest campus. That is a plus for the handicap students, and the lazy students. It is also good for inclimate weather.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about my school is the parking. The only way to park your car on campus is by having a parking pass or you will get a ticket. After you purchase the parking pass, there still is not enough parking, because the faculty and the students use the same parking spaces. Another bad thing about my school is the remedial classes, which make students stay there for more than 2 years. My school defeats the purpose of attending a community college for 2 years.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I brag about how we have free parking permits for everywhere on campus, except faculty lots. Also, how i have access to the honor's student lounge which provides me with peace and quiet while i study.
