What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
The advice I would give to myself is to be more decisive. Decide what you want to do with your life and just do it instead of waiting. Even if you decide later on in your college career that it isn't what you really want to do it is a start and you can always change your mind. If you have some college it is better than having no college to many employers and will therefore help you obtain a higher paying job. College life is hard but it is easier to obtain an education when you do not have a family yet, as I do. If I had gone to school before having children and before the economy had gone downhill I wouldn't be so worried about paying for it now. Being decisive will help in all areas of life, not just deciding what to go to college for.

They refer to it as the "BC Bubble." Because there are less than 2,000 students it is really easy to get to know a lot of your classmates and everyone is very friendly. Most students are Catholic (about 85{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}).

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
Unlike many other schools, Benedictine College is a faith centered campus. The Catholic faith is a part of the daily lives of students and educators at Benedictine College, both in and outside of the classroom. This commonality in beliefs acts as a foundation for strong connections and bonds between every individual on the Benedictine College campus. Further, Benedictine College’s strong emphasis on the Catholic faith allows students to be educated not only in their intended major, but also on how to intertwine their education and beliefs in order to carry their Catholic faith into everyday living.

And since it is a private school, it is smaller than a lot of other college which is nice is you want to get to know a lot of the people there!

What's unique about your campus?
I think that the best thing about my school is that it is so small that I am able to make great friends and have fun but still be able to focus on my academics. My friends support and help me in my academics and so do my teachers, which in a College or University can be rare.

What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
I think people stereotype us because of our Catholic population, but in reality we aren't all that different. We are loud and like to have fun, cram for finals, and complain about the food; we just change it up a bit by adding God into our education.
