Butte College doesn't have a very involved on campus community. There isn't much to do on campus, or on campus housing. While there are several different campus locations to choose from, the main campus is pretty far removed from any town. One upside to Butte is that it has a lot of funding compared to other community colleges in the area. The arts scene is very involved, welcoming, and active. Many of Butte's sports teams are extremely competitive and successful. Overall Butte College is an incredible academic opportunity and the best community college in Northern California.

Butte college is a very nice community college. One of my favorite things about Butte is the professors, most of the professors are Grade A, you can tell that they want you to succeed. They are almost always available and willing to help. Another benefit is location they are located among rolling green hills, it’s a truly beautiful campus. Although they are located outside of any city they do offer a schedule of free bus rides.

I think Butte College is a great school with good teachers. I have only been during Covid so it has taken some getting used to for myself and the teachers. The price is great, especially if you are a local because it is free when you take the right steps.

Butte College is an inclusive community. The teachers are always offering help and wanting to see their students succeed in the classes. The students support one another and it is really easy to talk to anyone. There is a wide variety of opportunities available for anyone to find a club or event or sport such as soccer, Maker Space, and the Horiculture Club.

I love it! The teachers are very helpful and encouraging. All of the staff is very helpful. Everyone is super supportive. There are many resources on and off campus. The food in the cafeteria is very good. It is a nature preserve and a beautiful campus. I love it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the academic atmosphere Butte College provided. The abundance of active groups and study life were always booming and professors were always there to help. My professors were involved in my personal and academic life, they were focused on getting me through graduation as well as staying safe and happy. I highly recommend attending Butte College before a university to get the hands-on training most people are looking for.

Butte College gives off a healthy vibe to all its students. The administration pushes to ensure all its students receive the academic and financial help they need. The professors are all kind and have the drive to help all their students pass. Campus life is thriving with clubs and student involvement events. There is a bus system to help students transport to school safely. Butte College is overall a fun, safe, and excellent learning institution.

Butte college is an under rated community college. It's only once you leave you realize how great it is, it's cheap for the most part and you get very knowledgeable professors who are willing to go the extra mile for their students. However butte is located out in the middle of nowhere, so if you live far your going to have a long commute

The whole entire process from the application to enrollment is super easy very straightforward. If by chance you need assistance the staff has exceptionally great customer service and very informative. Always ready and willing to help.

This school is a great option if you want to get your general education done with in a short amount of time. Its very affordable and the first year is even free for new freshman. Its also a great option if you want to go to nursing school, go through the fire or police academy or just your AA in something. Many people come from different places to play sports and they often love it. We are also right next to our local Chico State University which makes it very easy to transfer there.

Butte College is a large community college with three separate colleges in the surrounding area. The main campus is surrounded by hills colored golden by acres and acres of dried grass. The classes are varied with committed teachers who genuinely want their students to do well in class. The most impressive part of Butte is the extensive lengths the staff will go to in order to help the students. From the minute hit the apply button on your computer, the staff is making sure you have everything you need to do well from orientation to extensive counseling.

Butte college is a very diverse and accepting campus. The professors all want you to succeed. They will help you in anyway possible and they genuinely care about you. There are many different clubs and activities all over campus. It is also a very safe campus with emergencies phones placed all over campus.

Butte is more of an intersection, it being a two year college, in your life. You have the opportunity to feel the waters without opting for a second mortgage and the instructors are pretty knowledgeable. The school does seem to have a plethora of students but the political spectrum can seem a little skewed to the left.

It's pretty good in terms of the professors letting students who are not enrolled in their class to still come in and work on things such as art or a computer-related assignment. The majority of my professors have been of a great quality to me and I have always felt comfortable about asking for help. The campus food is a lot better than the food that was served at my old high school.

I wish that it was not out in the boonies. But it is a nice place. There are some great teachers who are totally for the students but some not so good. It is a good school because of all the great programs they have. I wish the counselors were better at helping students though. But overall I love how you get the nature feel of being there and there are good people and students who go there. The staff is nice and teachers are good.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If there was one thing that I know now and wish I could tell myself in high school, it would have to be that: if I want anything in this world, it takes more than wishing for it. In high school, I wanted my future to be planned out and organized; a smooth ride. However, now that I am older and considerably wiser, I now realize that anything good in this world does not come without hard work. I would tell my high school self that the road ahead is rough, and there is no one that's going to help you. So, you must help yourself. Nothing about college life is easy: the juggling of a professional, scholastic, and social live; the constant reading and writing; the seemingly overbearing exams; and not to mention the cost. With all of these stresses though, the only thing stopping a person from succeeding is oneself. I would tell the younger me that, while the road ahead won't be easy, hard word, dedication, and discipline are the only tools you need to build a successful future.
The best thing about our school is how much they help us with homework. They are careful not to tell us the answers but guide us in finding out how to do the problem. I like the athletic program where they make the athlete's study 3 hours a day in the Learning Resource Center where we usually get our homework done.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
I feel Butte College is a really good school. Anytime I have queations there is always someone there to help me. I also really like how there is so much help oncampus for students who need help. The programs thry have on campus are easy to apply for and easy to find on campus.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The campus is what is so unique, it is a wildlife refuge. The campus has hundreds of acres covered with all types of agriculture. But what makes it most unique is the staff, so helpful and undersstanding.
