I love it, it has a lot of different opportunities available for all different types of majors. It is a big university filled with clubs, academic opportunities, medical help, and mental help opportunities for all students. It is very diverse and it offers different types of bachelors and courses for a lot of different majors.

While there is certainly promise, there are some things that hold the school back. For example when it comes to the art professors, many of them expect you to already know what you are doing. They don't actually teach. They show you an example of something and expect you to automatically get it.

This was a dream to go to Cal State Long Beach, Now that I am here attending the school I feel at home I feel welcomed and the school offers so much. I am majoring in Computer Science I would like to become a software engineer along with a computer programmer.

There's a lot to love about the school. The professors, students, campus life, and natural surroundings are incredible! Every time I step foot on campus, it makes me feel happy knowing I have wonderful support groups and a beautiful environment around me.

My opinion is that it is a very beautiful campus that's very diverse but sometimes the staff aren't as helpful and can tend to give you instructions that make you go in circles. Although the professors are very helpful and kind as well as patient with you if you explain your situation.

California State University, Long Beach is made up of a diverse student body that makes any new (or returning) student feel welcome on campus. There are numerous services and programs that students can take advantage of for whatever need they may have. There are food services, mental health services, health and wellness services, and dozens of others that ensure students aren’t impeded in completing their courses due to a lack of food or other resources. The university also hosts various events throughout the year that allow students to take a break from their studies to enjoy themselves and have fun. There are big events such as Smorgasport and small events such as live music hosted in the University Student Union which make the college experience more enjoyable. Another positive aspect about CSULB is the access to food services. There are restaurants on the upper and lower parts of campus, there are snacks and other ready-to-eat meals in the convenience stores, there are food trucks, the farmers market, and vending machines spread throughout campus. The campus also offers many academic services to students who would like extra support in improving their basic skills relating to writing, math, science, or other disciplines. Each college also offers their own services/programs which assist students in their specific field of study. There are numerous other services offered by the campus such as resume reviews, mock interviews, career development counselors, and tutoring services, as well. All the services/programs offered by CSULB show that the university truly cares about the well-being of its students and wants them to be successful in their classes.

It's a pretty nice school if i do say so myself. Professors are typically very nice and lenient. Campus itself is very nice as well, they have a few places you can buy snacks when going to class. They also offer lots of resources, you just have to find them.

CSULB is the perfect school all around and I think that if anyone is considering going here they should come by and check it out. The community is very welcoming and everyone there is so nice I highly recommend. The school has beautiful spots all around and always has the best weather.

CSULB is a decent affordable commuter school. The campus life is extremely solitary. You won't meet new people unless you actively join clubs as classmates just want to go home after school. Professors for the most part are superb in their craft and are passionate about their fields. Education is a priority for these instructors and they deliver quality education. They grade fairly and provide great feedback. If education is all you care about then this is a great school. If you want a social scene go elsewhere.

California State University, Long Beach has its ups and downs. The campus is bustling with energy, offering a diverse range of clubs and activities to get involved in. The professors are generally great, but like any school, there are a few duds. However, the real downside is the parking situation—it can be a nightmare! Despite that, being near the beach definitely makes up for it. Overall, it's a mixed bag, but there's still a lot to love about CSULB.

Lovely school and challenging in academics but there’s plenty of support and leniency to ensure we all succeed. We have a variety of options which is pleasant and we have many fun activities throughout the campus to have fun and socialize with other students. It’s a wonderful experience.

I feel like this school has an overall nice vibe to it. Though I am doing online, I could see the campus is somewhere I would feel safe and its definitely somewhere I'd love to spend my freetime at. The professors seem to also be very hands-on, especially through online classes.

The CSU Long Beach Distance Education Program for graduate studies in Social Work is a fantastic opportunity and I highly recommend it to anyone considering it. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to build a community with my cohort and to be instructed face-to-face, albeit virtually, by the amazing social workers and professors at CSULB.

I believe this is a great school. I know many people who go here and even my older sister attends this school. I applied to this school just last fall and got in. I plan to attend CSULB next fall as a nutrition major. I think Long beach is the perfect school. I've actually spend the night there before and can agree the rooms and housing is pretty nice. I stayed there for one weekend for cheer camp. I was able to almost get that student experience. The food was amazing and they had various options to pick from. The rooms were a good size and had enough room for the average person. Overall long beach had a lot to offer from meals to rooms and even academics. I would recommend long beach to anyone if they want to have a good college experience.
