I love how small it is. Everyone of my peers are so nice and I am included in everything they do. I appreciate that my professors take the time to help me if needed. I am on the swim team, and my coach is motivating in the best way. She values academics over everything and the team studies together.

I love Campbellsville University for its diversity thought the campus inside and outside of the classroom. Being a Christian based campus everyone on campus is there with open arms and a gracious smile to help with anything and everything that a student may need. This campus truly has become my new home.

I personally love Campbellsville. I enjoy the small, close knit environment. That's one of the reasons I choose to attend Campbellsville. You can get 1 on 1 time with your professor so that they can explain things you might have missed. The professors take the time to get to know you so that they can provide a more comfortable learning experience.

I think it is a wonderful school filled with many opportunities to get involved with the students and professors. The staff is both friendly and available which makes for a great campus community. Furthermore, this college seems to be strong in the academic studies as it offers a wide variety of major and minor specific courses.

I personally love the campus. Its a small town and love that and the vibe it's self was able to even make my overprotective mom love it there. My favorite part is the E sports team due to how different it is to any other building on campus ; the accessibility of every building is great its around a 15 minute walk around campus so its a perfect size.

Campbellsville University has been the best decision I have made in the past two years. They have so many opportunities and always encourage the best out the students here. I have never known the importance of community until I became apart of the community here at Campbellsville.
There is something for everyone and the christian atmosphere is so inviting. The campus is beautiful, the professors are amazing, and I have learned so much thus far.

I absolutely loved Campbellsville! I knew the minute I was there, this is where I’m supposed to be! The Villiage is amazing! The cafeteria has wonderful choices for whatever you may want. The campus is beautiful and very well kept. The counselor I had was very informative and available to help with everything I need! I love Campbellsville and hope to be a student there come August!

I love CU. I am a dual credit student in Somerset, but I am very involved, so I'm aware of pretty much everything on campus. I love the community that's been created here at the Somerset location. I plan to go to main campus when u graduate this year. I will enter college as a second semester sophomore because of CU. I will only lack 8 hours to be a junior. I'm so grateful for Campbellsville University!

Campbellsville University is a school for the people who like the small classroom environment and have the option to have 1 on 1 time with the professor. The students are pretty interactive with the athletics and every sport tends to have a fairly strong fan base around them. People are nice and will say "hello" as you walk past them towards your next class. As for having things to do there isn't much going on. Since the university is based in Campbellsville Ky. there is very little one can do for fun. However, there are a few things to do for fun, Green River is only 15 minutes away, there is a cinema in town, and every now and then there will be on campus activities going on. On weekends most students tend to leave to visit family, while another portion of the student body go to parties. Overall, Campbellsville University is a good school, it just depends on what the student is looking for in a college. Small classrooms with a smaller campus and know everyone by their first name.

The environment is amazing and different. Everyone is friendly and wanting to do big things with their lives. I will always be proud and be in love with the school of my dreams: Campbellsville University.

Campbellsville University is a great school. The campus is beautiful, God is a priority, and the atmosphere is positive and friendly. I love the way the nursing program is set up. Although the school is costly, CU is quite generous with scholarships.

Campbellsville is an extraordinary University that I would love to attend after I graduate this fall. The food is amazing, the people are extremely friendly, and you are surrounded by people who genuinely care about you. Plus the multicultural backgrounds and Christian based campus make me feel more at ease.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
?Kelly, you are making the right decision! You will love Campbellsville. Be ready for your life to change. You are a strong girl, but you will be pulled in many different directions so stay true to yourself. One thing you?ve got to be prepared for is meeting people and knowing how to connect with them. Leaving all of your friends behind is not going to be as hard as you think; you will meet many more amazing people. Get involved with the Baptist Campus Ministries as soon as you get there! You will regret it if you don?t. Stop worrying about choosing a major. You?re going to change your mind so much in the first semester that if you continually change your major you will begin to get on your advisors nerves. It really is no big deal; you have a while to think about it.You HAVE to take chemistry your senior year. Yes, it sucks, but it will suck even more when you get to college.
Buy some rain boots BEFORE you go! If it is raining anywhere in the world, it is probably raining in Campbellsville. Stop worrying. You are doing the right thing.?
Campbellsville University is best known for it's diversity among the students. We are a very diverse campus which includes people from 30 different countries! That's a lot of diversity in one place! Campbellsville is also known for it's amiable environment. Every time you walk to class, someone will always smile at you and say "hi." It doesn't matter if they know you or not, that's just how friendly everyone is here!
Campbellsville is a small city, so if you aren't a small town type of person, Campbellsville is not for you. Sure, there are plenty of things to do on campus, but I know that life beyond the campus is something many students look for; Campbellsville doesn't have as much to offer in that area than universities in larger cities. To attend this school you must also be willing to obey rules, so I would urge someone to look into this before they choose CU. The university is pretty strict when it comes to things like drugs and alcohol.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I feel that the atmosphere of the school is what makes this school unique compared to any school I had considered. It was a warm and friendly school, accepting of my talents, and dedicated into helping me succeed. I also have great professors, and tons of friends due to the friendly community here at the university. They university was able to grant me a new home and I'm excited for the next four years. I am proud to be a student of Campbellsville University.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I havent attended this school just yet. I just graduated from high school May 25, 2012. I'm enrolled at Campbellsville University to major in Pre-Med Biology this fall. Also, I will be a member of their swim team.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
How friendly everyone is and how much the proffesors want to see you succeed. They really care and get to know you by name, I've never been in a class larger than 35. When you see them around campus they stop and talk to you, even the president. I love my school's emphasis on servant leadership. Everyday the president gets up at 6AM and walks aroudn the campus picking up trash. It's a lead by example school from the top down. The Freshman manditory mentor program is great to get freshmen oriented.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
There is such an emphasis on sports here. I understand that they pay for your college and they earn the school a lot of money, but for those of us who don't play sports we kind of get left behind when it comes to things like financial aid. It would just be nice if myself like many of our athletes didn't have such a significant bill to pay after I graduate.
The best thing about Campbellsville University is that it is a small campus and the professors are always willing to help you. You are able to get one -on-one attention from them and they actually care about what is going on in your life. Also the fact that Campbellsville is so small, you don't need to leave for class more then 5 or 10 minutes early to get there on time. So that's really great when you have to put the final touches on a project before running off to class!
Class participation is required in all the classes I am taking currently. We do have many opportunities to spend time together outside of class. I am in the band and our directors are just like a part of my family. They treat all the band students as if they were their own children and expect us to work hard in our classes or they talk to us just like our parents would.
What are the most popular student activities/groups?
The international students have a large group on campus and they are very active in all activities of the college. The band is also very active on campus.
Campbellsville is just the right size for me. People love when I tell them I go to Campbellsville because they know that the school is the right fit for me. Some students complain about the size of the town Campbellsville is in but it is just like my hometown and I love it.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
