What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back in time and give myself one piece of advice as a high school senior, I would tell myself to do dual enrollment online my senior year in order to get an early start on my degree. This would save both time and money. I would also teach myself how to say "No" to opportunities that are not going to push me in the direction of my long term goals so that I won't become overwhelmed with responsibilities that are not beneficial to me. I would definitely make myself work harder at finding and applying for scholarships, because even though it seems laborious and time-consuming, working to pay for school before it starts is much better than working to pay off my bill after I graduate. Finally, I would remind myself to appreciate my private high school education because it prepared me for college better than public school.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
Because Baptist Bible College is a ministry oriented school, graduates do not get jobs with large salaries; therefore, the college lacks the large endowments that other colleges possess. This causes a lack of available scholarships for the student body. For many on this campus, it is extremely difficult to pay for college even though tuition is not as high as other institutions.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
Even though we have many opportunities at our school, at times because of the size, some things are not offered. There are activities, sports, and clubs that are available at larger schools but because of our size we would not be able to support them.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I always tell my friends how much I have grown and continue to grow in my relationship with Christ. I gain so much encouragement and insight into the Bible through chapel worship and messages and through Bible classes. Because everyone around me takes time for personal devotions, it is so easy to spend time studying God's Word and talking to Him. My friends at college encourage me so much and offer additional support in my walk with God.

Describe your favorite campus traditions.
Baptist Bible college is best know for providing a biblical based education of the upmost quality. Professors strive hard to make BBC not simply about earning a diploma, but gaining practical knowledge in the various fields you study. BBC is not structured to earn you good grades, but is instead focused on helping you as a unique person to learn and as you strive to do this, grades will fall into place naturally because you are learning.

What is your overall opinion of this school?
The best thing about the school is the friendliness of the facutly, staff, and students. When I was visiting EVERYONE said hello to me. All the staff was friendly and helpful, even on the phone! I thought this would wear off once I became a student. It didn't. They are all equally as considerate, happy, and interested in everyone individually. I wouldn't change anything. The school is just right for me. People react in a positive way because they have only heard good things about the school. I spend alot of time in the dorm in many different rooms either doing my homwork or having fun! The schools administration is very fair and does an excellent job. I havent heard of any controversy at all. There is ALOT of school pride! Nothing is unusual about the school. I will always remember how there are always activities going on and they are always great! The most frequent complain I hear is about having chapel every day. Some people only want it 3 times a week, but I like it every day.

What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
It makes sense that one of the stereotypes at a bible college is Christian. That may sound kinda cliché but it really isn't. I can honestly say that the students here at BBC Christians. They care about thier fellow peers. We are constantly building each other up, helping each other when someone needs it. The saying that you will make relationships that will last in college is so right, especially at BBC because we care about each other. We are concerned with our fellow students physicall needs as well as their spiritual needs too,
