Is the stereotype of students at College of Charleston accurate?

Lizzie

no

Shannon

I think that every school is a party school. I know of plenty of school with a party scene much bigger than that of CofC. Yes, the students have a good time, but there is much more to the college than bars and house parties. And yes, the CofC is a gret place to earn a great degree while being close to the beach.

Stephanie

Not at all. There are these types of students at all colleges, and there is not an excessive amount at CofC. The students at CofC are fun, laid-back and interesting. We work hard and we play hard.

margaret

I don't think CofC is a huge party school; I think it is the same as most other colleges. I do think it is getting harder to get into, because it is becoming more well-known.

Sarah

We're actually really focused on school and we have a good balance of both.

Andrea

These are not accurate. School spirit is improving, and students are not hippies, we just have a much more laid back and care-free atmosphere than most schools. Students are very serious about their work, but they do party hard when the work is finished.

Ryan

Yes

Hunter

For the most part, yes.

Cody

Yes it is true-about 70{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the people are like that. Then another 10{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} are your hippies. The rest are normal middle class kids.
