I love the community on campus, and we really have fun. The professors are super helpful and willing to work with you when you are struggling. There are so many available clubs, including archery, and there are different retreats paid for by the school so you can enjoy some time with your friends.

The teachers are wonderful. I have been in many of their online classes, and the teachers are very approachable, and walk out their Christian life to the utmost. They are wonderful mentors. The classes are good, and the other students are good as well.

The moment I took my first tour at CCU, I instantly fell in love with the place and knew it was the future God had for me. Everything felt perfect and safe, from the kind and supportive professors and leaders, helpful financial support given, and the strong Christian community. I couldn't ask to be in a better university than CCU.

The best college I've toured so far!! Absolutely loved the school, the campus and dorms are amazing! Apartment style, not dorm style, so it feels more homey. All the students we met talked about how close the community was, which is a great thing to have on a college campus. Love the class size and how accessible the professors are. Heard good things about all the professors and how they interact with students. Food on campus was great, seems really delicious and healthy! Loved to hear of all the clubs, super excited to go to CCU and join some of them!

Colorado Christian University is an amazing university with a close-knit community, professors that genuinely care, and great academics! My parents both went there and now I get to experience it this fall. I love how much the professors care for each of their students. I am very dyslexic, and my professor helps me when I struggle to understand. The classes are amazing. 100% the best school for anyone looking for a good community!

Overall, it's a great school. It's very safe, small to the extent that you get to know a lot of the student body and it's a nice little community, but not to the extent that there are no opportunities and everyone knows everything about you and your cat. Academically, it's challenging but really good and CCU offers many different courses for many different majors and minors. I'm a bio major but I've taken archaeology classes and forensic psychology classes for fun, to fill elective credits. There are things CCU can improve on, but I don't regret coming here.

I think Colorado Christian University is a very good school that allows their to freely express their Christian be!never without being uncomfortable or judged. Their instructors are well educated and have genuine concerns for their students. I am extremely glad that I found this school and I would gladly recommend it to any and everyone.

I enjoy taking classes at Colorado Christian University; the instructors respond within 24 hours when you have a question. I have been taking classes since March of 2017 and have had only one instructor that I did not get along with. Most assignments are due Sunday night at midnight Colorado time.

I am sixteen years old and extremely interested in attending Colorado Christian University. I was not sure if this was the school I wanted to go to until I visited the school this past March. I fell in love with the environment and community at this school. It is obvious that Christ is at the very center of this university and that is what I love. After visiting and seeing the Christ loving community at this school it was clear to me that this is the university God is calling me to! I hope I can attend this fall and can't wait to experience God in my college years. My opinion of this school is that it is an amazing school with great academic and with students who are passionate for Christ and eager to grow academically. Colorado Christian University has made Christ the center of everything they do which sadly hard to find now days.

Great school that teaches students to strive for more than just getting good grades, but rather being good people in this world. The professors are so helpful and you can tell they care more about your heart than your grades, that doesn't mean grades dont matter, but they care about who you are first and foremost.

So far I am pleased with Colorado Christian University and their care of me this far. If I have any questions concerning the method to do something I usually get a prompt response. The financial aid is my biggest issue to work through. With that being said, I have received help in that matter up to this point.

I have taken both online and on campus classes, The professors and environment have been wonderful. I am encouraged to pursue my faith and ministry in every class I enroll in. I have enjoyed my time as CCU and cannot wait to spend two more years pursuing my passion. I love the college so much I may attend it for grad school.

Colorado Christian University is the university I have been looking for. They have both online and on campus programs available. I am an online student in the Adults and Undergraduate College program. My favorite aspect is that they take the Christian aspect seriously. It also means a lot to me that my professors and adviser is available to pray with me over personal needs as well as assisting me with my academic needs. They make being in class easy.

Colorado Christian University's Masters of Arts in Counseling program seeks to surpass the CACREP standards for excellence. They seek to enable their students to become excellent inclusive clinicians. Clinicians who will also make a difference in their practice and as advocates for their communities.
Courtney
I take classes online through the adult undergraduate program (CAGS). The CAGS program has been extremely convenient for me since I have a full-time job. The staff is helpful and helps me so I can be successful in college while still working. I would highly recommend this program to whoever lives a busy life and can't attend a traditional college classroom.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I had an opportunity to go back in time and rewrite my life from High School to now I would change only a few small things that would have made such a big difference. First and foremost I would never procrastinate! I have learned that the more you put things off the harder it is to get caught up. As the saying goes, “Play now, pay later; or pay now, play later.” When you graduate High School you transition into adulthood and responsibility. Make a decision to do something and stick with it; never ever give up! Keep you focus and stay strong in your faith.
As an adult it is time to be responsible with finances as well. Save! Save! Save! College in an investment, no doubt, but an expensive one! In his conferences on financial freedom, Dave Ramsey always says, “Live like no one else, so you can LIVE like no one else!” No matter how you decide to pay for college it is important to have a plan. Do whatever you can to save money and be responsible with both your finances and life now, and reap the rewards later in life!
Classmates in high school were uncertain little individuals that were lost and confused in their place in the world and in school. I feel as adults and looking at the classmates in college you see more of stronger purpose and understanding of the direction they are headed and thier attitude towards school is more appreciated and acknowledged.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The community and overall unity of the school are the hallmarks that I notice most. All have come together with a strong yearning for academic excellence but also learning abuot Jesus Christ. Not all people will agree with our beliefs, but if they come they cannot help but notice our sense of joy and togetherness that creates an enviroment where we can grow in all aspects, not just academically. With this kind of community, we can truly support each other and know one another. You won't be another face, you are you.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Colorado Christian University is a school that focus on education, relationships, and community, while inticrating Jesus Christ into everything they do.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The one thing I dislike the most about my school is the size. I wish my school was bigger with more students so they could share in the great education I am getting.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
Before I came to CCU I wish I had known how much more difficult college classes were then high school classes. I wish I had known that it takes a lot more effort and determination to get where you want to be. I took AP and Honors classes in high school, and not even those could prepare me for the work load I was about to encounter.
I think our school is best known for the commmunities that are within the school. With roommates, to stairwell friends, eventually you become friends with everyone in our small yet loving campus.
CCU offers many courses and in fact the entire RN-BSN program in an online format. Working students, returning students, adult learners etc this is a much more realistic format for education.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
CCU isn't for everybody. Some people who should not chose CCU are people who do not enjoy a close community and thise who do not want to discuss the Bible.
CCU is commited to teaching Biblical aspects in every coarce they offer. Students who do not wish to be taught with the Bible would not be a good fit for the school.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
When I tell my friends my story, I tell them to never give up on getting an education that you are passionate about and proud of. When I was diagnosed with cancer as a college sophomore in 2004, I promised myself that it would not prevent me from getting my degree and making a difference in the world. After 6 years of active cancer treatments, I still work my hardest to have a GPA above 3.5 and learn all I can about Psychology.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
My financial aid situation. My family makes a lot of money on paper, while in real life they are not giving me any money for college. So it makes my financial situation more difficult.
What are the most popular student activities/groups?
I am not sure how much activities/ groups contact there will be since I am an on-line student. There is a campus life but I do not want to leave home as I am an older student with commitments to family here. I do expect class forums and other contact with the class.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
I really have no idea about a stereotype. They offer both campus and on-line classes. I would guess that being an older student the campus classes would be filled with motivated young people with a desire to have a biblical based learning experience as well as good preparation for their chosen field of study. The on-line may be like me, already having a career and wanting to fulfill a lifelong dream with a new career.
All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA.
