What is the stereotype of students at Emerson College?

Stereotypes about Emerson College and its students from older generations are very outdated. In the past, the school has been a haven for not-so-bright, very liberal students, and was looked upon unfavorably because of that and because its location in what used to be the Combat Zone.

One of the biggest stereotypes is that we're all liberal and either gay or hipsters. Emerson is one of the places you might see people referred to as "conforming non-conformists"
