EMCC is a great way to get pre-requisites out of the way before transferring to a university or beginning a bachelor’s degree. The science department is well rounded and professors care about the success of their students. Class sizes are small which makes it easy to learn and ask questions. There are few distractions and you can tell that everyone there wants to be there, they’re not required.

Mila - 08/28/2024

The campus is very inviting with very welcoming staff and students. Everyone is very understanding, and it is easy to navigate classes and get ahold of staff. Overall, I would say that Estrella Mountain Community College is an excellent place to go to for affordable and a welcoming college experience.

My experience at Estrella Mountain Community College has been very good. Every professor I have had has been very helpful and interested in trying to truly foster a love for learning. Because of this I further enjoyed learning and was interested in furthering my knowledge at a university. I am very thankful for the opportunity given at Estrella Mountain.

Makenzie - 12/18/2023

I enjoy most of my professors both in person and online. A lot of my professors are very encouraging, and when I’m not able to get there help, there are almost always resources around to help out. From the online tutoring and writing help center, to the library and in person students. I wish there was more involvement around advisement, especially in STEM majors.
