My opinion about Gateway Community College-Phoenix is that it has one of the best faculty. Most of the time, when I had a question, they would kindly answer it and provide feedback and resources. Safety was a concern of mine because there were a lot of people who often bordered me and didn't attend school there. Overall, it is a great school to attend, with plenty of spaces to study.

Eduardo

I attend Gate Community College and go to the Central Phoenix Campus. I love the idea that Gateway Community College is so close to my house. The classes are great, not too many students per class. There is just enough students attending to where we can all make it to class on time.

The campus is awesome, state of the art campus, clean. Other students are friendly! People are fast to offer help. As a freshman every time I have been on campus people have been quick to offer help. I play softball for the school, and my team mates are supportive. My coach makes sure our grades are not dropping. She makes sure we study and we see a tutor if needed. She will also follow up to make sure we followed through.

Clarissa

GateWay Community College is a great experience to have. The students and faculties are from all over. There are different ethnicity and cultures all around and being able to learn about different places are great. Class sizes are small so you get great teach to student ratios.

It is diverse and they offer a broad range of programs. I think this community college is a better option if you want to pursue something in medicine. The campus is beautiful and I like the little knoll we have where we do all the activities and promotions at. Personally, I am not a fan of the Main Building just because I think it's old, the room numbers are arranged in a weird way that it still takes me a while before I know where I'm going, and there's almost always a funky smell in the classrooms. On the other hand, the Integrated Education Building is beautiful; this is where most of the science and math classes take place. It also has the library and the learning center which is by far one of my favorite things on this campus. You can sign in for drop-in tutoring or appointments. They have tables for small or big groups and rooms to book a private tutoring or study session. I love going to the Learning Center because I feel like the atmosphere of the place encourages me to be more productive. Parking is not so bad but the college is also accessible via metro railway. The student center in the Main Building is a convenient place to kill some time with friends, play a game, or even nap before your next class. I only with that there were faster process and more accommodating staff for enrollment services and advisement--whether it be general or specific. These are some of the little tedious things I find but only when I'm enrolling, registering, or in need of advisement. Otherwise, I think GateWay Community is a great place to start with at a decent cost for education.

I have attended this school for four years and I really like the campus. This is a school that makes everyone feel safe. The police officers are nice and are willing to talk or help you when needed. It is small and the staffing here is nice and helpful. This is a campus that I recommend to attend!

Mark

So far I am in the Year Up Program and it is alright. I am mainly in the central campus where Year Up is stationed at in Phoenix but I would love to check out the main campus. Staff is very friendly. Not as busy compared to GateWay Main campus or Glendale community college so that's a a plus.

Bethany

GateWay Community College is affordable with small class sizes. It is easy to get one on one attention from teachers and tutors in the learning center. They have police officers and security guards all around the campus. The teachers are engaging and caring towards the students.

Miracle

It is a nice campus with excellent professors. The professors are always glad to help and are extremely understanding. The campus is presentable, but the bathrooms are not the best. The campus police make it a safe place, they can be seen wandering the campus making sure everything is the way it is supposed to be.

SHALONDA

I think its a great campus! Really good professor but some can be very aggressive at times and then you also have your nice ones. I do at times think sometimes it can be more about money than really just thinking about the future student and their success. I also think that somethings are put in place just to distract a student that in the nursing program but at the same time, if you can get thru than your on your way to success. Its a challenge to yourself.

Doran

That it is a great community college to go to to help you out with anything. Go to two years and then transfer to a university to get your education. Helps you from time to time they had the materials at college I can help you out. I recommend Gateway community college to other people they will help you achieve your education.

Ahmad

My opinion on Gateway is it's a very good school especially for a community college. There are a wide variety of classes to take and programs/clubs to join. The tuition isn't all that expensive as well. There is a program called YearUp I myself am currently involved in, this program while change your life. The program teaches business skills that translate into real world interactions and get you ready for your career while earning college credits and have a pay system where as you're learning you're earning. I love it!

Larissa

I believe that this school brings me great opportunities. If it weren't for Gateway or the partnership with the Year Up program, I don't think that I would be attending college. This college is also the reason why I am able to say that I had a plan after high school graduation.

Miranda

I love Gateway Community College because they are all about helping students success and making their goals happen. They have classes from early in the morning to the evening, and on the weekends to accommodate people with a busy schedule with full time jobs and people with families. In my opinion that matters and makes a big difference.
