It is a very nice school. The facilities are great and the campus is beautiful. They have a variety of classes and majors to choose from. Most of the teachers and staff are very kind and helpful. I believe it is a great school and would recommend it to any looking for a nice place to pursue their degree.

Keshon

They could do better with the extra activities and buildings, the buildings are old and broken, always got to get fixed. For instance, in my room, the doorknob fell off, the A.C. broke, the fridge and microwave broke, water was coming from under the sink and the toilet broke all in the first 2 weeks.

Kamarion

Great school needs a little more action

Ashley

Gordon State College is a fairly good school. The professors really care about their students' educations and most try to help as much as they can. The campus is very pretty and small which makes it feel very comfortable. A good amount of students, however, are the worst part about the school.

Aaliyah

My opinion of Gordon State College are all good. I love my college and would recommend it to anyone. The staff care about our academic grades and our safety. The students are all following guidelines for covid. The school overall is great with cleanliness, rules, food, covid guidelines and etc.

Alexia

it is a good school to commute to if you live close by other than that I wouldn't recommend on-campus living because of drug and alcohol use of other students at night it's loud and annoying especially if you are trying to study or sleep.

Caitlin

I absolutely love it and I look forward to becoming a student there and getting a real college experience! It's clean and the dorm rooms are wonderful. The staff want the best for all students, are extremely helpful, they do everything they can to help any student find their perfect journey.

Quinshawndra

This is a great school and i would like to go so therefore i can major in psychology. I want to be able to become either a social worker , counselor or an recreational therapist . I picked that because i love helping people it’s like what i was made on this earth for . That’s my purpose .

kierra

It’s really not a bad school, burn it can be better is they incorporated more for us to do. Also, there needs to be more variety options bailable s da to so food on campus. I feel that we aren’t getting our money’s worth for as much she even laid there’s very few choices out there for us.

Shannon

Gordon State College is a decent college, but I do not really want to get my associates and bachelors degree at. Actually they don't have a degree particularly for Art Teacher Education. Sometimes you get professors who may not even want to meet for office hours and they believe that you should just go to a peer or a tutor. To me it's not always helpful, especially when I want to understand what the teacher wants and not how others learned to do something (like math, English papers/formats,etc.) But I would recommend it to anyone who wants to major in nursing!

Dallas

Gordon State College has a lot of improving to do pertaining to academics and the professors that are chosen. My advice to upcoming college freshman is to stay focused, pay attention to who your professor is and do not slack. Take advantage of your opportunity.

Courtney

Gordon State College is a great school to attend. The professors are super awesome. They are very helpful when it comes to anything that we need help in academically. The professors answer their e-mails on the weekends so if we need help we have it. The faculty and staff are really great. The student success center, career services, and library are a few of students favorite places to be. There are many more great resources to use a well.

Joba

I am a theatre major. Gordon is definitely not an arts college, but with such a small program you're guaranteed a role in the productions either on or offstage. The class sizes are small and the professors are pretty chill and always available.

Brenda

My overall opinion about Gordon State College is that is a good school just to get your core classes done to proceed to your major. The food at school is great, the professors are caring and etc, but there should be a change in the school spirit. So I say Gordon State college is a great college.

Sydney

Classes sizes (as far as I've seen) are small (20-50 students). Professors aim for discussion in classes and most are open to helping students after class, during office hours, or through emails. The food on campus is pretty cheap for the portion sizes and it's pretty decent too. There's a few fast foods joints and local places off campus, but there's not much other than that unless you're willing to drive 15+ minutes. There's a fair amount of clubs, but you have to work to find them. The recreation building is nice, with a gym, pool tables, and a good sized video game room. There's a pool on campus too and the campus holds a decent amount of events every week, but if you're looking for something other than that you'll have to drive a bit out of town to find it.
