The entire school is amazing, almost overwhelming in its entirety but still gives a feeling of being welcomed there. The staff along with the administration does their best for the students in answering questions or fixing problems.

Greenville technical college is very uplifting like a breath of fresh air. They truly care for the students and the staff is always on their A game. Instructors are wonderful and set aside time to teach students and give them the required tutoring services

Greenville Tech is a nice small school, if you like that sort of thing. The class sizes are good and are a good student:teacher ratio. But the buildings are pretty plain and not very eye-catching. The parking lot design is confusing and sometimes I park somewhere familiar and just walk to class. Other than that, it's a good small school.

I love the school so far. This is my first year enrolled and I already see a difference between Greenville Technical College and another 2 year college I attempted to attend. These professors really care about your success. At first I debated upon going because of the distance when there is a college much closer to me but I am glad I did chose Greenville Tech! If you fail in this school it's your fault, there is help everywhere.

It's ok for transfer credits. Pretty cheep tuition. They try to get people involved more with after school activities. Some of the activities are ok while others are more boring. They have a few clubs, but not a wide variety. Most of the teachers are nice, they are willing to help students. They offer helpful tutoring for most subjects. There are no food options other than restaurants around campus.

It’s not the greatest community college. They seem to put in minimal effort for campus design. Many buildings are outdated and some bathrooms are cramped. They try to make an effort for student care by hosting small activities to blow off steam. The student center is one of the nicer, updated buildings that I actually enjoy and feel more happy in. Other buildings and rooms feel dark and closed off.

There are some areas that need some work. Especially when it comes to visual appeal but they are in the midsts of updating. I must add I am very happy with my advisor. She has been so helpful with my schedule planning and makes me feel very confident about the direction I am going. So far I have had about 50 /50 good / less helpful teachers while attending GTC. Some are very helpful and are excited to help after class others are not that helpful and were more confusing.

It has been a great school for me to accomplish my goals. While getting my associates I was assisted by professors along the way. For me, I was equipped with all the tools necessary to successfully graduate. After graduation, they will also advice you in the direction to become employed. Great school!

Greenville Technical College is a great place to learn. The staff helps you and actually cares about your education. The class sizes are small so you have more one-on-one time with professors. It is a small campus but they offer a variety of majors and careers. It is only a technical school so there are no sports but we have recreational centers all around that sponsor the school. The school offers student housing which is not common for technical schools so that is a plus. It is an overall great college.

It is a good school. This school works with you and advocates even if your grades are not the best. I would say, it lacks community. There are some involvement options but not much. It's a great school if you especially are looking to get an associates and or transfer. The teachers are helpful.

I think it is a wonderful campus for students who are starting their life, and can take it slow without spending to much money all at the same time. It's a nice environment to be in. The people are welcoming, especially to new comers at the college.

I am grateful that I have the opportunity to take free classes through my high school, but overall the school is lacking in many areas. It is the perfect college for some people, but I personally am ready to move on to a university. I also cannot get my specific major there because it is a technical college.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
As a high school student I saw college as a reason to move out and have parties every weekend. Now as an actual college student, I’ve learned so many things that I wish I could tell my high school self. The list of things is very long from classes to financial aid; however, I consider that choosing the best career path for you as the most important advice I could give to any high school student. This is because the primary reason to attend college is to obtain a career. I would advise my high school self to take a college skill class, explore what colleges have to offer and look for a career of interest. When searching information about a career take in consideration factors such as pay and job opportunities, but don’t let those be your top priorities. Assure that you choose a career that you enjoy and if you lose interest on the career you picked, don’t be afraid to change your career path. As a college student, it is very probable you’ll change majors at least once. Despite all the reasons there are to assist college, never forget the purpose of it.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
A school dedicated to pushing students to their full academic ability while attending classes in a friendly, healthy, and culturally diverse environment.
Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
It's very diverse. People from tons of different cultures come together as a family at greenville tech. The faculty members are also exceptional. They love their job, the subject the teach, and most importantly they love their students. Greenville Tech is a home away from home.
My classmates are a diverse group. I believe the youngest student is 20 and the oldest about 50. Most are women, however, there are about 7 men in my class. There is a wide variety of races, religions, and cultures also. Everyone is very helpful and offers insight to any students with questions.
North Greenville University is best known for it academics and bringing souls to Christ. North Greenville has one of the toughest curriculums to endure. It is known for challenging its students and setting them up for the areas they want to work in. It is also known for good athletics and being one of the most recognized schools for internships and jobs.
What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
I do not feel as if I am getting the college experience that I could have at a four year university. I go to class for an hour and then it's over. I leave class thinking "That's it?" I feel as if I am resting on my laurels by robbing myself of the college experience. It's not at all what I expected. College should be a place where you spend alot of time learning and interacting with your peers. During college, you should be pushing yourself to the limit, not the bare minimum.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I like the hours of my classes, they work around my two jobs and family life. I like the ease of blackboard. It makes completeing my assignments and sending them to my professors on time. All of my professors are easy to work with. They explain the material in a way I can understand.
What kind of person should not attend this school?
Greenville Technical College is a place to attend when you strictly want to focus on your studies. Greenville Tech is not a place for someone who is going to college to have fun. Yes, they do provide things to attend on campus but they do not give much of a college feel other than the learning aspect. The main reason there isn't a "fun" aspect is because most people who attend GTC don't live on campus. Most of the students commute daily to continue their studies at GTC.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about Greenville Tech is that they start you off really quick. You really have no time to prepare for the work or the time it takes to get ready for your classes. The teachers go pretty quick as well. That is all that frustrates me about Greenville Tech.
Academics at Greenville Technical college is on the average. Students are from many different backgrounds and everyone can learn a lot from each other. The academics is competitive for honors students.
What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
The stereotype at Greenville Technical College is students under honor program will have better grades. This stereotype is almost accurate since most students are Greenville Tech are hard workers.
