I am a very family oriented person, and as a graduating high school student who has the insight of knowing how much support you receive @ KSU has been inspirational and the fellow students support has been overwhelming. I would not hesitate to choose KSU all over again.

I would have disciplined myself better on time managment. I found that in my first semester of college I used alot my time very poorly. Knowing that right after classes was the best time to work on assignments, I would have done my work earlier. Instead of working on assignments early, I chose to work on them at the last minute, for example the day or night before assignments were due. Other than my poor time management skills, I had a great first semester of school and earned a 3.2 cumulative average.

If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to not be as scared and not to worry that college life is wonderful. I would also tell myself to apply myself, long as i study and pay attention in class i will due well. Don't be worried about what others think, because I am Me and No one can change. I would tell myself to not let my friends consume me or my time and that college is not hard as long as i apply myself an believe. I would also tell myself don't be scared to utilize my sources and my campus tutor department, because they are hear to help and to see me succeed. Because I am in college to get my education but also to have fun and enjoy my time wisely.

I would tell myself to take the ACT test more seriously. Had I known I would be placed according to my scores I would have taking it more seriously. Do not aim only to get the minimum required score, aim higher because you will have more opportunity. Also, college is very expensive so apply for every scholarship possible because taking out numerous loans will leave you with worries of debt. Another thing I would tell myself is fully research the school that I think I want to go to. What you see on tours is not the only thing school is about . You have to check the academic requirements and curriculums for your major. Do research on the city where your college is located. Take the college transition process more serious as a whole because if you just let things happen you have no control over the specifics.

Go ahead and enroll in college, work on that bacdhelor's degree, if your friends are truly friends, then they will still be there after the work is done. Buckle down and focus, get a 4 year degree and attend a gradute school. Always remember where you came from and give back to others. Bill Crouse

David, I come to inform you about the coming years of college, and the great transition from high school. Life is more then just these four walls (class room), but it is where everything starts. You have to stay on top of your classes and work ethics, because with time the work will only become harder but manageable. Once in school soak up all that you can about the university and all that comes your way. These years ahead will be some of the most important; don?t take it as stress but as a plate form for life.

Advice that i would give myself about college is to be your own person. Dont let others identfy you as someoneyou are not. Stay tr to yourself and respect yourself. More advice that i would give is to stay on top of your work because all professors aent lenient with work that is to be done and turned in. You only get one time to get things right. Also, be open to new peple and new ideas. You cant be a closed-minded person when away at college. You should get good grades in high school so you can take cousres in college that are added to you degree and not take classes just to fill up space.

If i could go back to my high school senior year and talk to myself, there would be alot of advice that i would give myself. One, i would tell myself to study more and prepare for test. Another thing i would do is stay focused on school and not get caught up into other peoples drama. I would also try to tell myself to do the homework because it prepares you for college homework, which is alot harder then in high school. my senior year wasnt that bad. i just wish i would have prepared myself a little more.

As a high school student, you should know that college isn't going to be easy, the transition is a killer. You should start changing your study habits now. Read every chance you get, do your homework with your 120{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} best, and never procrastinate. Some say you don't have to show up to class in college, but you need to go everytime the class meets. Missing a class can cause you to fail a test or miss some extra credit points. Talk with people in college, let them tell you what they know. When you start college, don't be shy, try to talk to everyone. You may meet someone who can change you life forever. Good Luck!!
