I believe Lindse Wilson College is an overall amazing school to go to. They might be a little pricey but when compared to the quality of schooling they provide then it’s worth it! I will admit there are things that I don’t like but overall I wouldn’t trade it for any other school. Since it is a smaller school you get to be closer and more personal with your professors and classes don’t seem as intimidating because they are kept to a rather small amount of students. LWC feels like a family rather than just a college!

I love this school. It definitely has its issues, like any school does, but in the over 2 years I’ve been here, I’ve definitely come to see this place as a second home. It’s a very small campus, with smaller class sizes (no more than 30 in a class usually, and major-specific classes can sometimes be only 8-16 students). So you get to know people so easily, and there’s always so much to do around campus to keep you active and engaged.

Throughout my college career, I have spent four years at Lindsey Wilson: hoping to make it five. I loved the class size and the professors, and the housing and food are good. It is in a small town, so the people are normally very friendly. I have always felt very safe here. Overall, I would rate this school a 4/5 stars and recommend it to anyone.
Jeremy
The school is great, the classes are challenging. The timeframe for getting grades is downright disappointing. Currently grading is behind by 3 weeks. The teachers are generally very nice and the classes well organized. If they could fix the grading issue it would get 5 stars from me.

So far its amazing and i cant wait to finish my education there! I have had several phone calls and meetings with the school and i will be joining in January, to farther my education in Marketing. the atmosphere is like a homie feeling, so that i dont miss home as much.

Very beautiful school, small classrooms, professors knowing you by name makes you feel more at place there. The academics are challenging, but there is always an open tutor. On campus housing for freshman is not the best, but if there are any problems then your RA or RD is there to help.
Hannah
I really enjoy it. They give you many opportunities to explore your calling in life with the help of all staff members on campus. They find a way for you not to pay the exacted amount you need to go there. Overall Lindsey is a welcoming place they talk to you smile say hello and finally ask hoe your day went.

I very much like it and I can't wait to be a part of the community here. The professors are warm and inviting along with so many activities I can be involved in. It's easy to make friends and the dorms are amazing and extremely comfy, it's a good experience all around.

It is a good school for someone who is looking to go to a small town. The overall class sizes are small and the professors work with you a lot. Roughly 1,200 students live on campusThere isn't much to do other than go to school. The athletics are good and fun to go to.

i absolutely love LWC!! they have given me so many opportunities i don't know where i would be without them. they were willing to move around my schedule so i could play football and be involved in the arts. additionally the school is reasonably priced and is a christian institution so i only ended up paying about six thousand a semester
Melanie
I absolutely love Lindsey Wilson and there is no place I would rather be. I was up in the air on where I wanted to go to school but the minute I stepped foot on campus I knew I was home. The small campus provides a unique family like community. Lindsey Wilson has become my home.

It is a great school that allows you to accomplish graduation at a faster pace than others. Semesters are split in half so that work load is not overwhelming. Professors are extremely nice and helpful. Online enrollment is offered for both bachelors and masters programs. In this case out of state tuition is not required.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Visit! Visit every school you are considering. Visit once with parents and once on an overnight visit by yourself. You get a true sense of how things will be when you are there without your parents. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions, like if the school has your major or how the dorms are. But most of all, focus your nervous energy into excitement. College is a big transition, but it can also be a fun one.
Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
Lindsey Wilson College is a small community school with so much heart and potential with great people who want to see their students, friends, and family succeed in everything they do.
What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
I was very pleased with my school and I recommend it to everyone I know. The teachers took extra care in our education. They were always available to make sure we succeeded in the program.
What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
Due to Lindsey Wilson being located in a small community we struggle to grow. Many of the limitations on the school are due to closed minded trustee members of the school. This has prevented us from becoming a university, increasing our number of available programs and graduate schools, and versitility in meal plans as well as other areas on campus.
Someone who is self motivated and hard working should attend this school. A person who wishes to help those who need it because they care, not because it would make them feel better. Somebody who is not afraid to look at their true selfs and face their fears and doubts about themselves while growing. A person who wishes to help because they understand the hardships people face, and understand those hardships. Someone who is prepared to listen without judgement, no matter the person.
What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I tell them about the family type atmosphere. That the professors really do care about your success, know you by name, and know your life inside and outside of the classroom.
